Ice Hockey was a pretty solid sports title, Crystalis still holds up to this day, the Mega Man games were pretty rad, the Dragon Quest titles of the time are pretty good etc. Of course the NES feels obsolete compared to the SNES, because the SNES was produced as a more powerful product to make the NES obsolete. That doesn't mean that the NES doesn't have worthwhile games on it, the same way that FF7 and FF9 don't dip into obscurity and unplayability because the PS2 came along with FFX. (though I will say, FF7's minigames look like they've aged like milk) --- So put on those clothes you never grew into, and smile like you mean it for once. The main two that stuck out for me for years is from culture brain, the magic of scheherazade and little ninja brothers. MoS was doing the hybrid rpg thing before it was cool.....had both good top-down zelda style gameplay and final fantasy style battles. Playing roulette in the casino was also mad fun. Then there was getting kicked out and banned from stores from trying to barter too much.....definitely still a game I can play today and have mad fun. Little ninja brothers was similar to the above, but had a more goofier story.
