Like the Terminator, it simply will not die. The anime equivalent of cheap shovelware.

Uh its called an anime. Not a cartoon.

I happen to like anime. I just don't happen to fall in the camp that ridiculously says that it's not a cartoon. It's a style of animation. Nothing more.

6/10 Early episodes are good, but then it settles into an absurdly repetitive formula, mostly because Team Rocket needs to be in every episode and, when they're defeated, they need to just have them vanish. Actually, 6/10 is probably generous but the show has occasional high points.

It's technically all part of the same show, though. B:TAS, for instance, also had different titles during its run (and major art changes) but it's considered one show. I guess one exception might be Sun/Moon, which I think takes place in the past or something?

(To be honest, the shite production values lead me to not lump it in with anime. Old habit.)

I also think of it as being more cartoon than anime, although technically anime are cartoons anyway.
