How did you do that? I tried to download the video and then upload it there as a gif, but it just gave me some Firefox file that didn't play when I Right-Clicked and downloaded it.

Try this:

It can turn video files (including .webm files) into gifs pretty easily, even if you only want to use part of the clip.

The link for the webm is https:// giant.gfycat.com/FrequentZigzagCopperhead.webm, right?

Remove the giant. and the .webm. Youre left with gfycat.com/FrequentZigzagCopperhead. Click on the gear icon(if you are on mobile you will need to switch to desktop mode) and select Open Large GIF Format.

Then I pasted the url into imgtc, because I find it loads much better for the majority of people.

Alternatively, you can simply replace he prefix giant with the word thumb and replace the extension .webm with -max-14mb.gif on any gyfcat link.

It may sound like kind of a lot, but its really quick and simple when you do it, and it almost becomes second nature after a short while
