People treat Superman not like any ordinary superhero, they treat him as a God, as an inspiration and courage to themselves. This is what Lex hates and one of the biggest reasons why he hates Superman and why he is insane. My question is... why don't he harbor this kind of jealousy towards any other superhero? --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. Also, Superman is primarily in Superman's city, which is probably why he butts heads with him more than any other hero.
