Has built in Wary Fighter 4
(no enemy can double him when he's next to allies)

Has Distant Counter and Vengeful Fighter 3, the best A and B skills in the entire game (by far, especially for bulky units. They are also the highest SP skills in the game)

His C skill gives quickened pulse to every ally unit

He's already the best green unit in the game

It's really cool to see, as Fire Emblem 7 is my favorite GBA game and favorite Fire Emblem game ever (by a lot)

I wish Hector was playable in Smash, but the game already has too many Fire Emblem characters

There are 3 (going to be 4) Hectors, 3 Ikes, and 5 Lyns. That's way to many for how many great characters they don't even have in the game yet.

That Hector comes out in August. he won't be an Axe user though, thankfully.

As for the hype... he's basically the main lord of FE7 only through Hector's mode, can you get the True ending

which was the first FE game in the west and likely the first game for a lot of the fans.

Also people like his character and he was arguably the strongest unit in the entire game

I really wish Smash Bros followed popularity and had put Lyn or Hector in the game instead of putting in characters to sell/promote the latest Fire Emblem game.

As a result, they put in 2 extremely unpopular characters. Robin and Corrin are hated and unpopular characters, they basically only have any kind of popularity because they are in Smash

and Lucina is just garbage, I'm sorry.

A lot of these units have hard counters.

For one, Tobin is a free unit and will hard counter Hector.

Tobin deals like 60 damage to green armors per hit

Lucina could've been interesting. She can freaking use lances, her Falchion can heal herself, she has other classes she could be. But instead she's a Marth clone. If there's anything to be mad, I'm still mad that she had like 0 creativity built into her representation on Smash.

Otherwise, her presence in the first half of Awakening was pretty good. And then she reverted to being Robin levels of boring

Robin is the worst. This character is known for wielding swords and tomes, specifically a Levin sword, so let's put 6 variants in the game and make none of them wield swords at all.

I love it though. Seventh Robin with a sword come at me.

Seth is actually good. Good Defense and Attack.

With a Def Boon and his base kit, he has 40 Defense and built in TA3

I gave him Axe-breaker and use him as a hard counter for Axe users

Its just that hes the big brutish guy with s soft spot for his daughter and brother best friend Eliwood

Otherwise he is not the best, and idk when he already has 2 other armored axe costumes he isnt an exciting legendary hero especially when you know hes getting a costume soon

And it sucks that Chrom wont ever
get one since he has many alts because Chrom is the 4th most popular male (shot down in polls only because he had many alts already so CYL 2 didnt measure popularity)

Hahaha, you're joking right? W!Tharja's art is stupid. Her face is cute but a red Christmas dress would have been much better than lulzmoarfanservice. Tharja is in general just an abomination of what could have been a good character, though stupid over-sexualization, especially inflating her chest, ruined what good personality she had. Like so many other characters in the series (what the fuck did they do to S!Noire). Except Camilla. Camilla is easily one of the worst characters in the series.

Yeah for some reason IS considers male and female Robin to be separate and distinct characters (same with Corrin) so they only count it as 3 and 3. I don't get it but that's how they handle it.

It's why I thought Sacred Stones was one of the weakest in the series.

Because in the amount of time you spent grinding everyone up to 20/20, you could have finished the game by soloing it with Seth. Also with everyone at 20/20 Seth would still be a top deployed unit.

He isn't a Jagen. He isn't a prepromote with subpar bases and terrible growths. He's a prepromote with good bases and good growths. Even at 20/20, his stats are comparable to other Cavaliers.

You're just considering 20/20 stats, which is a mistake. Yeah, you could grind EXP early on to break the game with any character. Or you can actually play the game and solo it with Seth from beginning to end and save yourself the time and trouble.

When you consider the factors that go into determining Fire Emblem tier lists (base stats, stat growths, movement, availability, weapon triangle access, support type, etc) Seth is basically the best Fire Emblem character in any game.

I mean, look up any conversations about best characters in Fire Emblem and you'll always see Seth's name at or near the top of the list. It has been said that a Seth-solo run is actually easier than a conventional run.

It's funny because, in the game's story, Seth is handicapped by a wound he gets at the beginning of the game from Valter. So, the game-breakingly powerful Seth we do get is still Seth toned down. That's mostly a joke.

I think I'll be whaling here. VA Hector is already my Summoner Support, and this one is looking like he'll be even better. His art is great, too. Not to mention, the other two green Heroes you can get are absolutely amazing as well, or at the very least amazing fodder when it comes to Ike.

If you're playing semi-optimally very few units will even reach 15/20 so it's not really necessary but I understand the feeling that you might be losing out.

I always level 20/20 on every run for every Fire Emblem game. I never pick more than a handful of characters and they always max out before the end of the game anyway
