You just don't know anything about shooting I shoot competively a few times a month in different disciplines. Those irons look like they are mounted at 90 degrees. Imagine trying to get a sight picture if you are right-eye dominant. They are supposed to be mounted at a 90 degrees. They are not used like regular iron sights. You can have normal flip up sights on your rifle all day long, but if your optic goes to shit when you are engaging what are you going to do? Take the time to take the optic off so you can use your flip up sights? The amount of time it takes to tilt your gun at an angle and line up the sights is minimal. It might seem like an odd shooting position, but it works. I mean sure they could possible be friends, but considering her friend had a generic twitter account made just for this post and deleted it just 3 days after due to backlash Im more lead to believe she was propped up due to her blackness, friend or not.
