You actually want them off set to the side, which it is, though it should be at the very end.

Also, the bigger issue would be that the Vortex optic is maybe 3 inches further back than it should be, and the rear popup sight is too far forward, it will actually fit behind the optic just fine if it wasn't just crammed on there.
