There would be no reason to do so.

"Advice" would be useless without experience or the evolutionary changes necessary to understand current modes of thinking.

Modern functions have been built on one another over time, so trying to teach an early human something out of context simply wouldn't work or be as effective as you think.

good point. I would teach them how to farm and the wheel to the first people before they even left Africa. and then maybe go back home and see if I changed the timeline to a world where civilization started sooner. maybe thanks to my teaching those things early, in 2018 humans live all over the galaxy due to faster advancement
