I get this too after a binge. I've had an on/off drinking problem since 2016. I'll take maybe a month off drinking every so often but the rest of the time I'm drinking heavily every night. It's getting to the point lately where if I don't drink I feel horribly anxious and irritable.

My recovery ability peaked at the age of 17-19.
Ever since then it's gone downhill.

It got to the point where I avoid heavy drinking during the summer because there's nothing worse than a hangover on scorching hot day.

I can down a case over the course of 5 or 6 hours and not feel much the next day. Really depends how much water I have with it and how close to bed I stop drinking.

I've never been able to enjoy beer like that. I usually have to go with shots and a mixed drink chaser.

I finished a bottle a few weeks ago. That and Everclear are a bit overkill. I'll drink them, but they can give some really bad headaches. I usually stick to absinthe and high proof whiskey, but I just seemed to have built a tolerance as of late... and I drink maybe once or twice a week, so I don't understand how I'm building this tolerance.

I have the same tolerance problem but I'm afraid to drink Everclear and Absinthe. I went through a Bacardi 151 phase and I could almost feel the poison in my body.
