The dice is literally the only gameplay he has after coming back for the rest of the game besides the final boss.

Sonic the dice are awful then that part kind of has to be awful!

Oh, also the most satisfying thing in the game is when Nerk says "Cuh-RAY-Zay!" during combat. I don't know why I enjoy it so much. Probably my because the read is so strange yet perfect?

I'm about 13 chapters into DmC. I don't doubt that my opinion that this is very clearly and obviously a way better game than DMC4 is an, uh...."unpopular" one. The Bob fight and the club alone surpass anything in that game by an enormous margin.

Probably just a difference in what I'm looking for.

Also WOW is DMCV very clearly taking a lot of aesthetic queues from this game.

That penultimate fight is so lame, but man is that final fight fantastic.

I am going by memories here for some of these since they aren't fresh, but right now:

3 > DmC > 4 > 1 > 2

I'm not the type of person who can "appreciate a game for it's time", so while I respect 1 it's just not a game I can stand to go back to.

3 I'm a little nervous to go back to. Might be too spoiled by modern games, kind of want to keep those memories.

You have to capitalize correctly or we'll have CHAOS, foolmo.

It is the updated version. Early on in the game I felt like adding the lock on was pointless, but man was it ever important later.

Aquila is still totally busted against mobs, though.

But yeah, as someone who primarily appreciates aesthetic and presentation in games, DmC crushes it. Especially after DMC4 which, presentation wise, felt like it was made in DMC Maker.
