Got a couple of hundred games now, so I'm wondering who I need to beat to have the largest collection on the board, since we all know I have nothing better to do with my life.

Sweet. You should denote which are physical and which are digital.

I estimate my PS4 collection at around 20 digital and 130 physical with so so many of them being collector's editions, mostly of RPG's.

I do so on Backloggery, but my physical collection is tiny anyway. Only 5 games in that lot.

Digital is easier to get and often cheaper for me, since I'm buying from multiple regions. If my country is stiffed on a game, I can buy from the US store instead. :P

I have a nice, even 400 PS4 games, but I have 75 "multiplatform" games and some of those are PS4 for sure.

I have several games I haven't loaded yet, either. Games I got for free from Plus and just added to my library without a full download, and few on disc I haven't got around to playing yet. PSNProfiles only counts games you have synced trophies for.

Most of the time when they announce the free games they're titles I've already bought anyway lol

I never saw the point in having a large collection. I only buy the games that I liked to play or wanted to play. They all have to be CIB as well. I have a massive collection of collector's editions (spanning 360 to XB1, and I have the LR version of Wonder Boy CIB) however.

Also, I wouldn't so much say I've "built a collection" so much as I would say I've "amassed a large amount of games" over time.

Never set out with the goal of having a collection. These are all games I want to play to some capacity. Lots of them I'll play for 10 minutes and move on, but almost all of them are appealing enough to me to want to play them and perhaps finish them.

I think I have around 180 PS4 games, not including a handful of digital items. Then I've a full wishlist of games like GoW or FC5 that I'm waiting for a price drop on.

Like the person above I want to play all this stuff. Of course by the end of the gen maybe my mind will change or a few will get skipped.

By paying US prices on the overpriced stuff. Paid US$20 to get Horizon Zero Dawn - Complete Edition on US PSN at full price, when locally, I'd have spent around US$38.70 despite being almost 50% off.
