Enjoy every second of High School! Enjoy every second of College! You think once you graduate or rank up a grade then all of your problems will just go away, but that is the furthest thing from truth. Instead, you will just inherit 19 year old or 25 year old problems. NOW, here comes the biggest ******* truthful advice your guidance counselor, parents, teachers, professors, and etc will not tell you. WATCH OFFICE SPACE because that movie is the most accurate representation of office work life you will ever receive. That movie should just be reality TV, but reality TV only wants spoiled kids. That is all I have to say :(

This

Working 9-5 >>>>> going to class 8-3 and then spending 4-10 studying and doing homework, not to mention wasting weekends studying and writing papers

when you're fully employed, once you step out of the office every afternoon, you can delete all work-related stuff from your brain until the next day. whereas in school, you're constantly fretting about different classes and essays and shit when you leave class. so you're always "on the clock" in a sense. NOT TO MENTION the fact that you're getting paid for it, as opposed to paying out five-figure tuition costs.

Adult life kicks ass. flop topic is flopic

All I really said was corporate America is more like Office Space then the Office and that your problems aren't going to go away once you hit 23, graduate high school, graduate college, or etc. There's plenty of things to love about being an adult, but there's also plenty of things to hate about it.

Sure, but there's more to hate about being in high school / college than there is to hate about being a fully employed adult.

Also do you actually deny the holocaust? I'm not trying to meme here, it's an honest question. I'd love to know if that's actually true.

Yes

Considering your grades and performance on said homework and tests can directly impact your ability to find gainful employment (which is why you're in school in the first place, right?), it is indeed very stressful.

When you're an employed adult, the worst thing you have to worry about is getting fired, and you generally know what standing you're in, not to mention being totally in control of your performance.

Basically unless you actively know you're fucking up, you don't have to worry about getting called into HR and getting axed out of left field.

in HS only one year actually matters (junior year) and even then you only have to be better than average if you aspire to get a scholarship to a non state school. college barely matters either as long as you get above a 3.0

In which case there's A.) generally some kind of notice and/or stirrings in the months prior, and B.) those people get severance pay, which is more than enough to find another job

How do you people keep missing the point

My point was that "homework (and tests and essays) is (are) stressful because you have to worry about your grades since if you don't graduate you will get no job or a shit job, thus stressing you out more than already having a job."

I never said anything about C's being too low. I was a C student. But I still had to work to at least get a C. You can't just do nothing in college and expect to graduate.

You're still stressing about graduating.

literally show up and you'll graduate high school.

for college just pick an easy major like english, then all you have to do all semester is fart out two 5 page term papers about a feminist critique of jane austin novels or some other BS. spend the rest of your time like most college students, getting wasted on a daily basis and complaining about how you have to get up before 11am twice a week to attend a 45 minute lecture on Sociology 101

College is stressful as shit in regards to grades, job hunts, having to rely on unreliable financial resources, etc. And you mention that "it barely matters as long as you have above a 3.0", what if you fuck up and ruin your chances at getting that? Retaking courses won't help much.

honestly how hard is it to get above a 3.0 in college? pick a major that isnt too hard, go to lectures, do the work, and voila you're good. plus there's a good chance you actually enjoy and are interested in what you're studying in school.

college kids are the most coddled group of whiners anyway, they go to afternoon lectures in their pajamas and whine that they were stuck with a class on fridays this semester, which conflicts with their hangovers

Guess what

You still haven't rebuked my point

You still have to do it. You still have to get a certain grade or higher to pass. And by extension, you still have to stress about the grades because they do in fact determine whether or not you will obtain a college degree, and by extension, a good job.

Not to mention five-digit loans you're pissing out for tuition every year
