Board 8 > Just to clear up "echo fighters"

Since I still see some confusion.

Echo fighters are not just clones. They are essentially alt skins with the most minute differences (extremely minor hitbox or damage changes) that make them a separate character on the roster.

So characters who have similar attacks to another character but major stature and/or physics differences (Falco, Pichu) or at least one completely different attack (Dr. Mario) don't get labeled as such.

But as far as I can tell as far as the roster is concerned, the only thing different about an echo character is the label. They are still a full playable character and not considered an Alph or a Koopaling.
