oh, for some reason the gamefaqs approximation was like 30.4 hours but maybe that is with all dlc or something? either way it looks great and i am currently downloading it on my ps4

If you play on a easy or normal first, yeah. I had a friend over and we took turns playing through it on hard the first time and it took us probably close to 25 hours. Man, that game was tough but so so so good.

...or maybe we just died too much, lul. Either way, OP, play on hard from the start.

Yeah man, as has been said, if you like Uncharted...

I dunno, Uncharted is the schlocky but fun and lovable action series you love and The Last of Us is the Oscar-winner. Something like that. You'll love it.

so this shit actually is kinda hard. i have died a shitload, especially when facing clickers. the opening sequence had me hooked, been running along since then. just met up with bill in his town, really stayed up way too late playing this but it had me into it. will play some more tomorrow evening for sure

It's great up until the ending, then it takes a massive nosedive. Seriously, it's pretty much 10/10 writing the whole way through until you get to Firefly HQ. Then it becomes 0/10. Never seen such a huge drop in quality like that before.

It's very good, as a one playthrough only game. Why ? Because it doesn't offer any unlockable options, such as infinite ammo, or unlockable infinite magnum, nothing. Zero replayability IMO. And I like my games to be replayable.

I'm the opposite. Uncharted blew me away. It came free with my PS4 and I loved it. It's way more action.

Honestly you actually don't fight enough in the Last of Us. That's why it's boring. I want to fight! Not move planks and shit or "look at the giraffe".

Ive always liked the exploration of humanity in the face of an apocalypse, so I kinda dug the general gist of the story. The Walking Dead Season 1 was far less hamfisted, though, and accomplished more without getting melodramatic.

eh supply scarcity isnt really the fundamental issue there, rather, the inability to use the hugely powerful listen mode

you dont really need to use supplies anywhere except when fighting bloaters.

definitely more action than i expected thus far based on what people told me here...definitely cutscenes in there but mostly action or at least moving around and trying to avoid detection
