I have been a sony fanboy for quite awhile but sony really dropped the ball this year. The flow of the conference sucked. It was really short. No FFVII Remake. Only 2 actually new games shown. Didn't show that avengers game developed with SE.

I don't get this complaint. Do people not follow gaming news or what? They announced like a week ago what they would be focusing on with their show.

Who gives a hoot when you're shooting yourself in the foot by putting your few major exclusives on PC. Just simply having some better performance isn't a reason to go Xbox over PlayStation when Sony has the more compelling exclusive line up.

I could see the merits of owning both if you didn't have a pc...but really, if you cared that much about performance, you would have one.

...man do I regret going X1 first this gen out of platform loyalty. Glorified bluray player now because my wife refuses to learn how to use a PS4 for watching movies. -_-

I have both 4K consoles but all my multiplatforms from here on out will be on Xbone

Before crypto took off, you would have spent about the same on a 4k pc and monitor as you would have on an X1X and a 4k tv....unless you decided to skimp on the tv, that is. It's only in the last couple years, if that, that major brand 4k sets dropped to more affordable prices for most people.

Again, it depends. Almost every fucking Sony exclusive these days is an over the shoulder cinematic action adventure junk. It's like they're taking a page out of Ubisoft game. http://www.pointandclickbait.com/2014/06/ubisoft-game-review/

I got a 4K TV for a little over $300 and it's a Samsung so it doesn't suck

Xbox One X is $500 so $800 total

Meanwhile a GTX 1080 costs more than the One X

Sony has everything from that "action adventure junk" that always sells well to RPGs to shooters to racers to indies, etc. MS has, what, a few adventure titles, some shooters, some indies, and racing.

Also, Death Stranding looks more walking sim/psychological horror but who knows or cares. It'll be a decade before we even see that.
