I love Onett, it's one of my favorite Stages, but there are more stages that need the spotlight that are less known.

Depends how easy it is to bring those same maps forward. If bringing the ones that were already in the last title takes the same amount of time as legacy maps we haven't seen for years then sure, some fresh blood would be welcome.

But if it's quicker to port the ones we're already used to while adding a couple fresh ones, I'd rather they do that.

I do really miss Saffron City and Mushroom Kingdom from 64 though.

IIRC it was in 64 as well, but you could only fight in it in the singleplayer 'campaign' mode where you fought those polygon mooks, not as a multiplayer stage.
