Its like they always wait fo gauge how E3 has gone and then tailor their conference accordingly.

I firmly believe their original ideas for PS4 were closer to Microsofts disasterous E3 conference about the Xbox One but cowardly Sony had a few days to ajust and remove all references to always on and untradeable games and other maligned features originally intended for the Xbone.

It has been getting kinda lame, especially in recent years when most of their presentation is spent showing exclusive multiplatform stuff not shown at earlier presentations

Nintendo arent really relevant. Practically everyone with a switch also has either a PS4 or Xbone (probably PS4). Theyre a sideshow, not a main event.

You might be right about Sony backpedaling, but the Ones reveal conference is where Microsoft shot themselves in the foot. That conference was months before E3.

I think Sony would have included a lot of that stuff if the backlash wasnt so intense against the Xbone, hence them being lucky, and pussies.

The Xbox One devkits had the online DRM. There was nothing like that on the PS4 devkits.

There has never been any proof that the PS4 had a similar online system. Remember that they had to patch it out of the Xbox One. This isn't something that can be decided in under a week.

PS4 was revealed in February and Xbox One was revealed a week or so before E3 btw

Personally, I'm really craving some Mario Party. Bring that shit back to its glory days. Also, I want that confirmation on Dragon Ball FighterZ coming to Switch. I held off on PS4 version for months, hoping I could get it portable on Switch, and seems like that's about to happne.

Tbh the dude is kind of right. Nintendo's settled on their niche as a "side console" and rarely have anything big that isnt first party.

Like, I love Zelda and Metroid as much as the next guy but the last time anything new and exciting happened on a Nintendo console were when Xenoblade finally got its localization. >~>
