I'm debating going back to school to get my bachelors, but I don't think I can swing working full time and taking classes in person. If I could just do courses at my own pace at home, it'd work way better for me.

I don't wanna spend thousands of dollars on something that'll end up being a worthless piece of paper though.

online colleges are kinda suspect
colleges that offer all-online programs are better and available in most states

Any company that actually cares about your degree will not look kindly on an online college degree.

Even if the degree would mostly be book work? I wanted to study healthcare administration, and there really isn't that much to learn hands on with that. Would getting it on campus make that much of a difference?

There is a difference between an online only college and a legitimate college that also offers online classes.

The latter will give you a degree from a well known institution and your degree type doesn't specific "online."

The former is the likes of University of Phoenix, which doesn't have a physical campus and is purely online. It carries the reputation of "online college."

This is what I had my eyes on:

Kent State is a pretty well respected school too, and the program is entirely online.

The reputation of the school is probably fine. A more pertinent question is whether or not the type of job you are looking for will hire a bachelor of public health over a masters. I had never heard of the former, where as MPH is a pretty common program.

Very much this. My friend went to SNHU and got a very good job in finance. He was never asked if he went online and his diploma looked like any other students

Ah, I'll have to look into that. They have a masters program for public health as well. Might be smarted to aim for that instead.

I'm doing my degree online, but it's a physical university and the same classes, just that I'm doing it all online because I work full time.

Yeah, that'll be fine. Like was said, unless it's an online ONLY school, like Phoenix, the stigma is mostly gone. You also are under no obligation to tell your potential employers whether it was an online experience or physical.

I can't wait to be finished, I'm a little over halfway done, aiming to be completed by the end of 2020.

Wish I just did it when I left high school. Stupid drugs.

If it's an online program but not traditionally an online school your concern isn't necessary.

This is true.

This has never been my experience with any of the online courses I took.
