I am having trouble keeping track of all the stuff I've saved on the web. Right now I have like three different browsers that I use and they all have a different set of useful and no longer useful bookmarks.

Also, what do you think about using folders on the bookmark manager of browsers?

Well, I used to use tab for a cause, but they fucking ruined it in an update and I need a new extension.

I don't. I have two folders, and everything else is in a completely random order. Not even ordered by date added or usefulness, an actually random order that I decided on.

For the two folders I have, one is so that I can open everything in it up at the same time, and the other is because it's such a massive amount of resources that I want at the top that to not have them in a folder kicks everything else off my bookmarks bar.

Out of the bookmarks that are on the bar that don't need a dropdown menu, one I haven't even used since two reformats ago and is just there because Chrome remembered it. One I use maybe 3 times a year. Another I accidentally misclick sometimes but don't actually ever use it. One is GameFAQs which has a tab permanently open, so that bookmark hasn't been used in several years either. Another is Reddit on a subreddit I don't really even use too often anymore, when I also have Reddit in a permanently open tab too, so that hardly gets used. And one is for a game I don't currently play, so it doesn't get used. A few others see periods of a fair amount of use followed by no use at all for months. The three remaining actually see daily use.

All my bookmarks beyond that are stuff I use hardly ever and often even forget I even have bookmarked.

I'm sure that if I took the time to reorganize my bookmarks, after a week of not being able to find stuff and opening the wrong pages, my productivity would shoot up a whole 2%.

Edit: Oh, and three or four other sites, even though I use them enough to warrant being on the bookmarks bar, I just type the url instead because I can't be bothered to hit the bookmark button and then drag something else off the bar and drag them into it.

Tons of folders and folders inside of folders. I have a dedicated set of folders just for image responses. Currently in the process of building a new set for the post-IMGUR Gamefaqs

I put bookmarks and bookmark folders in folders just like how I organize folders and files on an OS.

My first 5 are my most often used bookmarks. I then group similar sites together. Then there's 5 or so sites I haven't bothered to sort.
