The only thing you did is show how ignorant you are. The earliest a person can graduate without skipping grades is 16. The latest a person can graduate without being held back is 19.

Oh okay so they probably were going to let him pass because those types of students never get held back. Id like to onow the highschool in question.

I dont know why you are so focused on how early he was able to graduate modern american highschool, but im more than willing to go deeper on this issue to prove my case and will apologize if its a school with good reputation that is known to fail its students instead of passing them like many do today simply because they cannot afford to hold people back and failing a dreamer is not good for public appearance or tax credits.

Most people dont take till 19 to graduate.

Maybe he was behind on classwork due to being busy with his teenage dad responsibilities.

Thats probably why we wanted to do drugs as a teenager too, and drive while high as a teenager from the stress of dealing with his poor life choices that im sure werent his fault.

Pffft.

It's not an overreaction, don't be stupid. Driving while high is pretty dangerous.

Send them ALL home. If you aren't here legally, then you are a criminal, it's that simple you are breaking the law. ICE needs to do more raids more often and very publicly. Needs to be HUGE fines for companies hiring illegals. If they have to pay $100,000 per head found working illegally they'd stop hiring them. The place here in Ohio busted last week had like 114 people, $11.4 million in a fine...that'd stop it quickly. So until the reason they are coming, working illegally, is rooted out they'll keep coming back 4, 5, 6, 15 times when kicked out. Yeah DACA people weren't adults when they come, doesn't matter, they are still illegals and fall into the group. The whole DACA program itself is shaky at best and needs to go bye bye too.

Fair. Fuck him. I wish everyone who drove under the influence got the same experience.

You know that DUI laws for cannabis are not based in reason, but rather to ensure guilt for the accused whether guilty or not, correct?

Someone can smoke three weeks ago, be pulled over tonight, get a blood test and show positive, and then be charged with a DUI. There is no way for police to prove guilt unless they film you smoking, yet based on protocols there is no way for the accused to prove innocence. And when you consider current immigration policy and the quota demands that police have to meet, well then guess what you get... immigrants being deported when they just as likely could be innocent.

lolwut? First off, they can find the remnants of a joint in the vehicle -- kind of like how open bottles of alcohol can be entered in as evidence. Second, they can record erratic behavior which can corroborate things like the officer smelling marijuana (in the case of smoking) which, in turn, is further supported by testing. Third, if you haven't smoked in 3 weeks, it's probably out of your system in general especially since if you're not smoking in 3 weeks you're probably not a heavy user in the first place. Fourth, the illegal immigration strawman is ridiculous and, if anybody was actually concerned about that, they could just not smoke. After all, they'd be testing for things that aren't there.

Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time.

Except you don't do time for being high while driving, it's just a misdemeanor. I'm saying the punishment for this particular instance is way out of line. You aren't deported to Mexico for this

Clearly he wound up doing time in Mexico. And the people who aren't deported over this are the people who are citizens. If you're not a citizen, you don't get the same treatment.

Guess im just a snob who looks down on people for any reason they dont graduate the same year they are legal adults short of bizarre leap year scenarios or child abuse.
