- Gadget is a cutie and liking her does not make you a furry.

- I love 80s cartoons. Guns, bullets, alcohol, and verbal references to death are all present in the pilot.

- "My ruby! What have you done with it, you diminutive nut-muncher?" Okay, they totally slipped that one under the radar.

- The tone seems a little uneven, at least in the pilot, but I don't know if there is a way to strike a perfect balance between detective noir and family friendly comedy.

- If Super Mario Bros. ever received a fleshed out adaptation, this show would make the perfect blueprint for how to portray the Mario characters.

Good show.

Just because nut is another word for crazy doesn't mean that everything is meant to be a slip under the radar. Words can mean 2 things. Some people are just reaching for what isn't there.

Also both catgirls and bunny girls are some stupid shit and I'd rather they just dropped the getup and just be themselves, actual human beings with personalities that I can get to know, but then again I'm just not into stupid crap like that.

At any rate yeah as kids we were probably into gadget without knowing what this feeling was, but the same is true of peg from goof troop and hell even lola bunny from space jam. Doesn't mean we feel that way now and in the case of the last one we might freaking despise the character.

But I freaking loved Rescue Rangers. That opening starts out so much more epic than it has any right to be. That lightning strike and the specific tune in the beginning, it just keeps me pumped and at the edge of my seat. The late 80s to 90s really are the forever golden age of cartoons.

I'm no furry but Gadget can get it.

That was my favorite show when it originally aired, even moreso than DuckTales, but man I haven't gone back to it sense. I wonder if it'll get a reboot if the new DuckTales maintains popularity.

Isn't Gadget viewed as a deity in Eastern Europe?

The pilots for Disney shows of that era were really special. Ducktales and Darkwing Duck also had fantastic pilots that were often slightly more mature stories than the typical episodes.
