My only regret is I was really not into Dinosaurs, cause my History sub teacher was a solid ~20 yr old 7-8/10 and If i was, i could've gotten some private lessons.

I regret putting no effort in. I could cruise through with not doing homework and get Bs so that's what I did.

It would have been nice to put some effort in and get scholarships, or at least learn a work ethic before university.

Not actually giving a fuck. I could have done a lot better than I did as far as grades go. Just wanted to dick around with my friends. If it wasn't an engineering or history class I didn't care.

Never learning how to study. I was always really good at half ass paying attention in class, and being able to recall it well enough to ace every test I took. In college, that stopped being feasible and I had absolutely no idea how to study. That made the first few months suck pretty hard.

Not being more social and not believing that the girls liked me. I went through all of high school without a single girlfriend only to find out that there were girls that liked me, but I never asked them out because I'm shy

I'm now married to someone else, she's had a string of bad relationships but is now in a good one. We talk a few times a year, but only about updates on major life events

Getting a job my Senior year. I almost failed because I had hardly had any time to do homework.

My second regret is not choosing to go to summer school every year. I could have graduated a year or two early if I did.

Hard to say. I wasnt the most social but to say I regret that is a bit iffy. Maybe I regret not studying quite hard enough for AP tests, causing me to do far worse on half of them than Idve hoped.

Not bothering to do my homework, thinking it was a waste of time.

Mind you, I still think it's a waste, and shouldn't be weighted as part of your overall grade. Back then and especially now you could just find and answer you wanted on a wiki.

Always aced my tests, and considering you take those in a closed environment without access to any external tools, those actually prove you knew what the class was teaching.

So while I thought homework was a waste of time, and still do, I still should have DONE it, just so I could have gone to college and had better opportunities.

That said, while it is something I regret from my HS days, it didn't end up all bad. I met my wife when I was going to Job Corps, which I wouldn't have gone to if I had finished HS properly
