Tangential thoughts.

1 - How often do the teams have to travel between the cities? The stadiums literally spread from Kaliningrad to Yekaterinburg and from Saint Petersburg to Sochi. That's ridiculous, and I doubt the climate is even throughout.

2 - Is there a service where you can just pay a few bucks for a streaming pass? And if not we should make one, imagine people paying for like a sports package but only paying for the sports they want.

Because he crumbles on the international stage and is a product of the team around him at Barcelona. He's great yeah, but chokes when the pressure is all on him. Compared to Ronaldo whose Madrid team is nowhere near as good as Barca, and Portugal probably wouldn't even qualify for the WC. Ronaldo puts his team's on his shoulders, Messi's along for the ride

Messi's hat trick got them qualified to the WC lol, not to mention he led them to the WC final 4 years ago

AND when Neymar left, he placed barca on his back and carried them to a la liga and CDR double, leading in assists and goals iirc. Ronaldo has a better team atm in both madrid and portugal, with MUCH more depth. Look at barca's midfield last season, the old guys rakitic, busi, and iniesta who have no pace whatsoever, and get tired after the first hour . Suarez has been crap, dembele injured, and coutinho came in late but has looked amazing so he'll be able to help Messi next year for sure.

So no, you're completely wrong....but Messi does need to work on penalties or just give it to someone else cause fuck he's been terrible at them for the past 3 years

I'm conflicted

Mexico vs Germany is 1am-3am tomorrow, and Brazil vs Switzerland is 4am-6am

Germany is my favourite "top" team, but I don't like the idea of sleeping, waking up, sleeping and waking up for work. I'm considering either:

a) Watch Costa Rica vs Serbia (even the first half), sleep for 4 hours then watch Brazil vs Switzerland, then go to work

b) Only watch Germany vs Mexico from 1am-3am, wake up at 7am then get ready and go to work

What will be less exhausting iyo

Yeah that happened, Mexico isn't really running out anybody different on this team either.

As a Mexico fan the only realistic hope is that they keep the goal differential manageable. No one is going to be too surprised by a loss, but they can't quit like they do sometimes or Germany is going to put them into a -6 hole.
