Rolled face with Yukiko/Gordeau in the open beta, but I think Yukiko is kinda trash and wanna pick up one of the DLC characters. Jin and Ruby seem pretty OP still so I might try to learn them some more

I'll have to play around more with the cast to decide but Mika is my favorite character to use in UNIST and I really wanted to try Jubei in Central Fiction so definitely give each of them a shot whenever they come out

Oh don't say that. I didn't buy DBFZ so that I could buy this one, because DBZ looks like ArcSys MvC, and this look like a more traditional ArcSys title. I don't think it's going to replace the other BB games at all, and GGXrd is still like the best thing ArcSys is doing now, but I'm still here for it. If they do a second round of DLC, I might get to play as a cat and stuffed teddy bear. I don't think you understand what that would mean for me. I'd be playing the best troll team in FG history. I'm so close. I can't give up on my kitty dreams now.

Yes, but Hazama is boring, he's been doing the same schtick for like eight years. And Hazama/Adachi is a full-sized sprite, which means all moves work on them regardless. Smaller characters might need character specific stuff that people are less likely to learn.

Blake and Yang are still DLC coming later, but I believe they were changed to being free DLC add-ons rather than being part of the character packs.

It was already horseshit how they broke up the team for money when it was something that a lot of RWBY fans were looking forward to. Now I might actually consider getting this if that's the case.

Also I'm pretty certain of Monty Oum was still alive this sort of thing would have never happened.

Yeah, they made a good decision changing them to free DLC.

Also, some other RWBY characters are sort of represented in the game thanks to alternate color palettes for other characters. I already saw that Noel has a color scheme that makes her look like Ren (who also fights with akimbo guns) and Nu-13 has one that makes her look like Penny. There's probably others in there too.

They are both free DLC, and Blake is out at launch as well. No word on when Yang is coming, but it can't be too long from now, given that she's going to be good to go for EVO.

Anyways, likely going to be maining Hyde/Orie or some combination of Wald and someone else, at least until Izayoi comes out.
