I'm rolling with an Ivysaur, Pidgeotto and a Machop rn. Starting to hit a wall, like I should be swapping my starter and Pidgeotto out, but I'm gonna power through it to keep the team together.

You get 50 pieces of premium currency per day, which is enough for a Pokemon box expansion or a power stone expansion, and the "quests" give out premium currency too. It's pretty good in that regard. The closest thing to a lootbox would be the soup mechanic, where you cook a big pot of soup to attract more Pokemon to your camp. You have to go out and do expeditions before it takes effect, or you can skip the counter by using premium currency. Not a problem if you save your shit, eventually you'll be lousy with premium currency. --- So put on those clothes you never grew into, and smile like you mean it for once. As far as time wasters go it isn't bad. My wife and I are both messing around with it. They also give just enough energy so as to not make it feel like a chore to use it all.
