During intermission, he had a heart attack and never recovered. The venue was inexcusably, unforgivably slow in getting him attention, I don't understand. Rest of the show was cancelled. Totally crazy, still kinda processing. He was 10 feet away from me.

I know this is probably just a joke, but for context for anyone who doesn't know Ghost, it's tongue-in-cheek. They're campy, it's practically a Halloween party.

Of course, that being said, the last song they played before he died was Deus in Absentia, so... at least it wasn't Year Zero.

Honestly there's no real excuse. The pit was not that big and it was not even remotely unruly. They oversold it like mad, though. The venue just took their sweet-ass time figuring out what to do and kept telling a RN in the audience to back off because they "had someone on the way" while the dude just fucking laid there. It was a disaster.

Not sure what they'll do. It was a massive 2.5-3 hour set with two halves, and we did get the entirety of the first half. The tour also ends tonight in Minnesota. I'm not sure if they'd swing back around to do the second half of the show for us.

The Rave is another venue in Milwaukee that hosts more Rock and Metal bands. Riverside does more "JIMMY HENDRIX EXPERIENCE" shows and travelling stand-up comedian stuff.

Although now that I think about it when I was in high school I saw a show at the riverside and my gf at the time fainted in the crowd and it was really hard to get help because the bouncers thought she was drunk or something

well, you said you were ~10 feet away. did you do anything?

i'm not trying to blame you at all, but it was a group effort to be idle during this. point being that it's sometimes hard for an individual to "step up". i was at a concert a while back and this dude next to me just passed the fuck out. dude dropped to the floor like a ton of bricks. and i .... just .... stood there, looking at him. doing nothing. i thought "this isn't my responsibility, i'm not gonna mess with it" and then a girl who was like 10 feet away pushed through the crowd, kneeled over him and checked him out and yelled "jesus christ someone help this guy". she did what i was unable to. i felt like a terrible person. i hope that the next time something happens i will do more (aka something)

I'm not trained in CPR, dude. The venue pushed away a nurse who was, because they "had it under control" and security were shoving back anyone who tried to approach.
