Eh... my interest faded out of the game completely after KT the first time.

I thought I was going to be able to get the platinum, but it's just too grindy for me to care at all

Am I the only one still going strong?
I play at least 2 hours a day. Its like my therapy.

I gave this game an honest shot and couldn't get into it. Felt too clunky (tried different weapons) and the gameplay loop just isn't for me.

Monster Hunter is one of my favorite series. I'm not expecting an "Ultimate" version of this game for quite a while, especially with all the free updates the base game has been getting.

I like the game but, "kill the monsters and make new gear" gets boring after 50+ fights. This is like the same shit people bash Destiny for but it seemingly gets a pass here.

Combat's harder so it distracts from the rest.

It doesn't get boring for me because two fights against the same monster are almost never the same.

I'm sure it does get old for many people, and that's part of why this series has always had somewhat limited appeal. But I had nearly 600 hours in 4U, and I knew others who had well over 1,000.

Destiny always claimed to be more than what it is. Monster hunter is about hunting monsters, it never claimed to be more, wth else do you expect?
