44 y/o British Actor Andrew Lincoln has let the chicken out of the bag that he is FINISHED with the Walking Dead as he and Lauren Cohan will make their exit on the franchise as Season 9 will be his LAST..and he will ONLY be in it for SIX EPISODES!!

He played Rick Grimes as the actor said he's "had enough" of it and said he wants to focus his energy on MOVIES

Another insider said that Norman Reedus will be given 20 MILLION just to stay on the show!!.

The show is already going through changes with a new showrunner after Scott Gimple was fired and the season saw the exit of his son, Carl in Season 8.

He opened up on how the lost of his son opened up a lot of important parts and how he feels it's time he exits the show.

No word on how he will exit the show given he's only in it for 6 episodes and had a romantic relationship with Michonne played by Danai Gurira.

Danai's career is also skyrocketing after her appearance on Avengers and Black Panther as she too may take the plunge to exit and focus on her movie career.

Lauren Cohan was in negotiations with AMC to stay on the show if her salary was raised reasonably but with that out the window and signed on an ABC show, Whiskey Cavalier, her exit on the series will happen sometime in Season 9 as well.

This show went downhill the moment Negan killed Glen and Abraham in the season 6 finale. The show was at an all time high at the time, and they just butchered it badly with these past few seasons. They turned a show about surviving zombies to a show about surviving people, with the occasional zombie showing up. Negan....the long awaited Negan....turned into, at least to many people, just a very annoying egomaniac who liked to go on long theatrical soliloquies.

They opened the show so wide open with so many characters in so many settings that you lost connection with most of the characters. There simply wasn't enough time to develop most of the characters. Go back and watch a few episodes of the earlier seasons. The character development there is phenomenal. They traded that for a grandiose stage with an even more grandiose villain.

One of my coworkers who loved the show has quit watching it already. I know a couple others personally who have stopped it as well. With Rick Grimes leaving, I can't see how it goes on. Maybe if Carl was still alive, he could try to step up and fill that void, but alas, he's dead. The Grimes family is the cornerstone of this show, and now with it gone, it's hard for me to see how Daryl is going to carry this thing.

Scott Gimple ruined this series. I never liked him in interviews or on talking dead. He literally was given a golden goose and somehow still screwed it up.

Sorry to say it'd been that way since like Season 3.

Do admit it got much worse with Negan though. I stopped watching entirely early season 7 (and being real I only sporadically watched since mid season 2-- show's pacing was only really good in the first season I thought) when he cut the same HHH styled promo about how he needed to be respected every episode several episodes in a row.

After season 2 there basically was nowhere to go with zombies as the antagonists. They kill zombies like they are nothing over and over.

You are watching a show based on a comic. This is how the comics go. It is only now we are going to see some drastic changes from the comics.

Walking dead has been boring for a long time. It is hardly any negan issuem

It is understandable that people gave up after season 3, which was a horrible season, but the series did recover in seasons 4-6 rather nicely. Sorry for forgetting the spoiler tags. Figured anybody entering this topic would know spoilers were possible.
