I just don't think any of the tangent really applied. Where did that tangent come from? The discussion was about how trash being on the ground at a country concert turned into how all Trump Supporters, MAGA hat wearers, are inbred, cousin fuckers, etc.

Obviously these people are not representative of every liberal or even most (one did call out another liberal for using the r word specifically - but not the other words. That half counts I guess), but there seems to be a large push that mostly only Conservatives can be bigots, intolerant, or insulting with the rise of the Alt-Right labeling that goes on.

The truth is it lies on both sides, and I don't think there is really a side that is better than the other when it all comes down to it.

Also: I did just notice Forceful made a good post back there.

COURIER JOURNAL - Crowd cheers when valedictorian quotes Trump. Then reveals it was Obama

The crowd burst into applause.

If it makes you feel better, I am very ignorant to just music in general. I just like what I like. I don't care to know albums, band members, and so on. I just hear a song. I like it. I try to file it away. Then forget it exists. And hear it again one day and remember how much I liked it again.

It sounds like the best defense for Trump is one based solely on law, specifically the principle that it is not possible for the president to commit obstruction of justice, and he cannot be indicted for anything at all until and unless he is impeached. Nixon's problem was he lost support in Congress from Republicans, who made it clear they were going to vote to convict. As long as Republicans in Congress stand firm, Trump should be fine.

A defense based on factual innocence doesn't sound very promising. Isn't a changing recollection the classic, tell-tale sign of a non-credible witness? I mean, there isn't even any modern science that's needed for that......inconsistent testimony being a sign of a non-credible witness has been at the heart of common law for hundreds of years.
