Anyone tried both? I'm reading some reviews online. Is the difference just one is bigger?

S8+ is bigger and has a bigger battery. That's it.

I went with the S8+. Battery life seems iffy after the last update with the caveat that cell reception is poor where I work so think it's always searching for a signal.

Exactly.

I wanted the larger screen and better battery life, so I went with the S8+.

I got the S8+. It's almost too big. Sticks out of most of my jeans a bit and you can't use it with one hand.

I'd say it depends what's important to you. But overall the difference is so small it's hardly a big deal which you get. Great phone either way.

Is the battery in the S8+ larger enough than the S8's to make up for the screen size difference? That's what's always gotten me when it comes to larger phones.

Always get the bigger phone, nobody wants to look at titties on a screen smaller than their song

Review articles indicate that the difference is better, but negligible.

I can use my S8 Plus just fine with one hand and I wouldn't say I have big hands. It would be easier with a smaller phone, though. The only thing that is a bit difficult for me to do is reach the very top of the screen to drag down the notifications.

reach the very top of the screen to drag down the notifications.

Settings > Display > Home Screen > Quick-open notifications panel

Lets you drag down the notifications panel from the home screen by swiping down from any part of the screen. Makes one-handed use much easier.

S8 is already too big, I can't imagine getting an S8 plus.

I wish they'd make a five-inch phone.

God no, unless it's geared towards children

You couldn't possibly be able to get your thumb around the entire screen without readjusting your grip unless you had mutant fingers.

So I'm talking about walking down the street, coffee in hand and needing to send a quick text. Can't do that with this phone without juggling it a bit.

Considering the S8 is barely larger in overall size than a standard iPhone 6/7/8, I doubt it
