It's kinda lame how when we think of Asian, you must either be Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Thai etc / look a certain way

But Saudi Arabians and Indians are also Asian, yet we don't want to qualify them as ones, as they don't look the part.

Even Russian Siberians (that look Asian) aren't considered Asian because they're culturally European and part of a widely considered European country, Russia.

We should change how we think.

but "middle east" indicates they are still in the eastern hemisphere. and the terms has been used for more than a century.

Races in general dont make sense if you think about them too much.

Why is Black considered one race when there are Black people from a variety of different parts of the world, not just Africa?

Why is Asian a race decided by geographical location?

And we all know white is basically whatever the flip the present majority counts it as to maintain power. People that werent considered white got assimilated into it over the years.

Then youve got hispanic which doesnt count as a race but is certainly different enough from other things we consider races to be considered its own.

Stop thinking about things too hard and enjoy life. >~>

This does make me curious. Do Saudi Arabians identify themselves as Asian? Do Indians? I do not know anyone from SA, but all the Indians I know never refer to themselves as Asian. I understand the Geography argument as factual, although I don't think a Brazilian, for example, would ever call themselves an American, even though they technically are.

No, Russia is definitely seen as transcontinental today already. It straddles Asia and Europe. The Ural Mountains are seen as a traditional cutoff from Europe. But yes, the vast majority of Russians live on the European side, such as in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
