Honestly, if I didn't have my Gaming PC the Xbox One X would totally be worth it.

But like, with my gaming PC literally the only game (that I care about) that I can't play on it is Red Dead Redemption. And even then, I can still play the game on PS3. It's not really worth having the Xbox One X around just to play a 4K version of RDR. Especially when I haven't touched it in 3 years and probably will continue to not touch it when RDR2 comes out.

Funny enough, most of the games I would play on Xbox One X will never get BC because of licensing issues I'm pretty sure.

A bit of a suggestion: when you ship the Xbox, pay extra for the signature required when delivered. A lot of people think buying tracking will protect them if the buyer tries to claim they didn't get it, but the tracking actually matters very little because there's multiple possibilities where the package could go "missing", and some companies basically say "there's nothing we can do since it's your word against someone else's". Requiring a signature upon delivery, really helps cover your tail if someone wants to try and scam you.

Having old games like RDR look like 8th gen titles while having loading speeds cut down from 5 fucking minutes (in the case of Assassin's Creed 1) to seconds? Getting shitty modern games like Assassin's Creed Unity to run like they always should have on a console? All at no extra cost besides the cost of the game? It's one of the strongest pro-consumer practices today.

People buy Virtual Console games without blinking an eye even though most emulators can run things better than the home consoles ever could, that's an example of worse backwards compatibility. Paying $15 for PS1 and PS2 ports for PS4, another example. Those deserve shit, not Xbox's backwards compatibility.

You can play older games for the cost of the game in question and over a billion hours have been racked up on BC, so people in fact do curr. And neither did I, I actually bought a One S initially on Black Friday, then returned it because I thought the One X was the better deal. So why do you keep mocking people like me who bought the X, again? I bought it also for better 4K on most multiplatforms (and yes this has been verified), the 4K Blu-Ray drive (which is on the One S but only for movies) better Skyrim/Fallout 4 modding, Cuphead (my One S was originally gonna be a $200 Cuphead machine before I returned it), Xbox Live Arcade games that aren't on PS3/PS4 (SoulCalibur is my favorite fighting game of all time), better party chat (where my microphone isn't being suffocated by the software mixer settings and I can actually see who's talking at any given time), and an online store that doesn't implode on itself everytime I try to buy a game from it, for starters.

Keep in mind that I was a hardcore PlayStation guy for the last 10 years. Something must have changed that, and it's Microsoft finally getting their shit together.
