here's what i found on gmuns site (which you can't link to so I'll just repost it for ease) (lots of posts incoming)

-------

"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then people began to fight over it. They wanted to keep it for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared. But small fragments of light survived, in the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But the true light sleeps, deep within the darkness. That's why the worlds are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open and the true light will return. So, listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with its power and push the darkness away."

Kairi's grandmothers origin story.

This is the earliest anything we know in KH.

What immediately follows is the Keyblade war... (technically that tells about the keyblade war. Just much less than I now will.

In the early world everything was great. But there was one amazing arrogant ass hole. This asshole had no name (ok, realistically his name is Super/Superbia, but the game never told us it officially yet) by the time we meet him though, he is simply called Master of Masters. Why is he called the Master of Masters? Well, because he has 6 Apprentices, themselves made by him Keyblade Masters. He has the original Keyblade and gave them each one to protect the world, their names are...

Ira
Aced
Invi
Gulag
Ava (Ava is a fucking moron, I'm really getting tired of people defending her dumb decisions...)
Luxu

The asshole also wrote the book of Prophecies... which will cause the fucking moron to do stupid stuff.

Now then, even though one is a fucking moron... it would not remotely be fair to her to not blame yeh others too.... the Appocalypse was a joint effort by the group of idiots, one of the six was just extra dumb. But all of the Masters and their exceedingly low iqs were played by the Master of Masters.

And that's where we'll leave off for now. I'll either do more tomorrow after work or my off day. The next part is a lot... it's a soap opera to be frank.

Also, you may notice that we haven't even had the words Xehanort or Sora yet when talking about people. You should probably enjoy that while it lasts... The series will make up for it.

Kingdom Hearts X: Backcover.

Alright. Here we go.

First off since I obviously know how it all ends we'll have spoilers earlier than maybe they should have come up.

Case of Luxu, we start by seeing 2 figures clad in the black coats. Great start.

One of them howver is fucking Noctis (Ray Chase). Before I get into characters and other shit like that, I can't say enough how much Ray hit a grand slam here. They told him this guy was a questionable bad guy, and he just fucking went with it.... Master of Masters by Ray is a delicious smarmy smart ass ass hole the entire time.... and I love it.

We are told the smaller black cloak guy is #7. AND he's indisposable (which technically they should all be, but then you remember MoM is an asshole who is either trying to bring about the Apocalypse directly, or just gives no fucks to stop it and will let it happen.

Luxu is confused by being #7.... to which MoM Replies it simple (flat out calling him a moron) that 6 plus 1 equals 7. Then he sarcastically says "wait, don't tell me I don't count". He's just the best.

Then he walks toward him and summons a Keyblade.....

Actually that's not fair.... he summons THE Keyblade. This is to this point the first canonical instance of "No Name" (the first Keyblade) appearing, (remember, Backcover, X, and UX all happen the same time frames, so this is before the X games), and for such an important moment it sure is anti climatic.... MoM just gives the damn thing to Luxu. No, seriously, he summons it, walks to him and says "here, take it".

This is the second most powerful thing in the world, and it is just handed off with little to no fanfare.... sad. He also gives him a task and a box. That task is pretty much the connecting force for all of KH. The box.... eh.

So, the MoM has an eye that sees the future. Handy. He gives 5 of his 6 dumbasses a Book of Prophecies which told of events to come... including.... spoiler alert, the upcoming apocalypse that their dumbassery was going to cause....

Case of Ira:

Speaking of, we meet the first dumbass, and the soon to be leader of the dumbasses... ira.

MoM asks if he looked through the book. Ira says he has but is still analyzing it.

MoM makes fun of him that he didn't just quick skim it (a quick skim through a book detailing the future of the world). And we quickly see one of Ira's faults arise. His response to this obvious joke is to defend himself and say he just likes to be thorough. (In his defense, he did just read about the apocalypse, I'm willing to cut him some slack this scene)

Ira asks if the last passage of the book is true?
MoM responds that's a bummer, huh? (I love this guy)

To further make Ira worry, the MoMs calmly says if he were to someday disappear he's counting on Ira to keep the others calm (at least it wasn't Ava). Ira rightly is shocked by this even being brought up, and asks him what he means by disappear. Because MoM is an amazing asshole he completely ignores what Ira so clearly meant and instead gives him the definitions of vanish, dim, and fade, and then says he doesn't know how to explain it.

We then learn a bit about the Age of Fairytales (the time we see them in). The first talk of KH. The world is giant and made up of many smaller worlds, all of them connected and having lights, but all share one big light, Kingdom Hearts. The MoM points out everyone thinks that KH would be there forever, but if it were to disappear, the world would go to darkness.. and Ira of course is like "yeah, that's why you gave us all these Keyblades" makes sense... right?

NOPE. MoM just bluntly says no, they are not for protecting Kingdom Hearts. And reiterates the final passage.

"On that fated land a Great War shall transpire.
Darkness will prevail, and the light expire" Bummer..

So Ira reacts that aren't we supposed to stop it, isn't that why we have these books?

"Nah, not possible"

Ira is surprised that he can't change the future...

MoM actually taunts him about it.

(In a sarcastic sing song voice)

"You really think you can change the future?"

Ira then wants to know what to do then, and MOM explains they have to focus on what comes after (yes, what comes after the destruction of the world.) because there is no use trying to think of ways to change events we know are gonna happen. Ira then asks a fair question. What about everyone here now, or we'll be here when the darkness comes, are we just to abandon them?

At this point MoM LITERALLY laughs out loud at him and says

"C'mon, are you telling me that you think the world can be saved by just seven people?" Outright mocking him at this point.

Ira is undeterred. He says they have to at least try. If they gathered more Keyblade weirlders perhaps they could stop it (for the record, given how things go... BAD IDEA!!!!).

MoM is then like, well, if you want to give it a shot. Ira says yes. MoM says "alrighty good luck" and legit goes to leave. No anything else, he just says alright, Ira becomes leader of the world in his place, and that's that.... for those keeping track at home. MoM has now with absoltely 0 fanfare given someone the second most powerful item in the world and given someone leadership of the world. God this guy is amazing.

And now it's time to learn of the 5 dumbasses.

The reliable Ira who wore the mask of the Unicorn. The leader.
The virtuous Invi who wore the mask of the snake, her role is to watch over (read spy) on the others with a fair eye. Sounds great, can't imagine this will lead to anything.
The fearless Aced who wore the mask of the bear, his role was to support the brand new leader Ira.
The prudent (LOLOLOLOLOLOKIKOLOLOLOL, holy
Shit, amazing) Ava, who wore the mask of the Fox, her role was to prepare exceptional Keyblade weilders for the world after.
The coolheaded Gula, who wore the mask of the leopard, his role was to uncover the mystery of the book of prophecies.
And finally the 6th, Luxu, the first to be given a role watched his companions from far away while they learned exactly what it was they needed to do. Then he disappeared.... great.
Well, at least the MoM is still there....

Not long after that the MoM vanished, dimmed, and faded without a trace.

Well.... fuck...

This is where the movie finally reminds us that this is a mobile game tie in, and that this is where our story began. So everything before this was just Backcover, now is where X and Backcover start happening simultaneously.

5 of the Masters apprentices armed with the book of prophecy and keyblades, each created a Union, (what you join in X)

So here we go.

We see a meeting of the 5, and the SECOND the meeting starts Ira just flat out say there is a traitor among us. I know what you're thinking... why the fuck would he say that, fair question. He's an idiot. This probably won't surprise you, the other 4 react to this with surprise and question of things like, proof..

His proof is he found a dark chirithy. (Cute thing kinda like a moogle). Though a more apt way to put it. He found a nightmare (Dream Drop Distance)

Flashback to dumb bitch time.

MoM brings in a normal spirit Chirithy in a flask and Ava asks him if gen made it, and that it's so cute. MoM says things are gonna get hectic soon and this will make their lives much easier... hopefully.

Anyway, they are like cats or dogs, they can be your normal pets, every weilder will have one at their side, they are here to help the wielders. So play nice.

He then points out that if a wielded is overcome by malice or their heart tainted by darkness, they will turn dark and becomes nightmares. This was a HUGE Red flag for me, needless to say the 5 dumbasses were non plussed by it. Also, if you don't stop that one renegade spirit it will plant darkness in the hearts of others and taint them too..... so if you dont stop the one you'll have an army of nightmares on your hands.

Uh, ok, EARTH TO DUMBFUCKS, HE'S EVIL!!! Seriously, he created them, why would that even be a thing?!

Aced, using what little brain god gave him points out the fucking obvious. So if we see one , we have to destroy it on the spot. This is LITERALLY the only logical decision given what was just said, the thing is like a virus and WILL infect others creating an army.
Ava's reaction is to scream, no, she wont let him do that. This is of course the dumbest possible decision you can make, Ava would not stop the rat that began the Black Plague... so Aced is then made fun of by Ava. Aced isn't happy about this. Ava sowing seeds of discord early. Aced wants to do something smart, Ava first says she won't allow it and then makes fun of the guy....

You know, just in case anyone wants to believe that for some absurd reason Ava wasn't going to destroy the world either way even if she didn't start the Keyblade war directly... this idiot was god damn bound and determined. Then the MoM makes fun of Aced and we end the flashback (poor Aced)

Gula points out they can all just summon their spirit then they'll know who it was. Invi being a bit less dumb points out they all control an army, and any one of them could choose some random in their union to summon a non nightmare.

They then go on like a 5 minute spiel that is pretty much about gameplay elements of X, but even in this Ava is an idiot, saying I thought we agreed collecting the dark energy was ok. At which time the obvious is pointed out, collect yes, use no.... Ava then points out everyone has already equipped their bangles. I blame her.

Ira with not a lot to go on now reiterates its someone in this room. Invi point ls out there is no way to prove any of that, and Aced points out Ira is a horrible horrible leader for bringing this up and making them all fear each other now (he's right for what it's worth), and even points out that it's not like the traitor was gonna just give themselves up. Aced says that was foolish and storms off, Gula and Ava leave soon after. Leaving Ira and Invi alone.

Ira says "that didn't go as expected" and everytime I've ever watched this video I just think.... how the fuck did he think this was gonna go down?

There's a traitor among us.
I have a nightmare here to prove it.
Oh yeah, that was totally me, I confess.
Well that was easy. Other 4 summon their keyblades and kill the traitor.
YAY, we saved the world.

Anywho, Ira talks of the lost page in each of their book of prophecies. Saying this event isn't found in his book. His implication being that one of the 5 has the missing page. And that person is the traitor. That's of course stupid. But Invi agrees he may be on to something... great. We are like 10 minutes in and down to just Gula for fully functioning brain potentially. Invi then thinks maybe this was the MoM plan all along, only one have the missing page. By the way, Invi and Ira are totally fucking.... just saying. Anyway, she continues to say she'll spy on the 3 others for him and at the end tells him "May your heart he your guiding Key".

Speaking of Invi...

Case of Invi:

So, we see MoM talking to Invi, saying Ira may have to take over for him, and he wants her to observe eveyone, but spy on them "fairly" oh, and also don't be afraid to speak up about her spying. (Always a great idea when spying on people to speak up about that fact) Anyway, he wants her to be the mediator of the group, that the others get alone (spoiler, she fucked up). She's the first one to point out that losing him and Luxu is a bit unnerving yo try to maintain the world (she must understand the group of 5 is idiots Supreme too)

MoM says maybe he'll neve dispaear, the trolls Invi by asking "wait, do you want me to go?" She does not. And he tells her he was just fucking with her. MoM tells her change can be hard (yes, I'm sure ruling the world out of no where is a culture shock) but she needs to keep everyone together otherwise she'll be left behind and all alone. Flat out telling the poor girl she is not remotely as strong as the other 4. He then says the guiding key shit, says that he says it all the time, and then in the end tells her she ultimately needs to do what she feels is right. For those keeping track that was 2 different pairs of conflicting these he told her in 3 minutes.

We cut to Aced complaining about how bad of a leader Ira is to Gula (ok) and Ava (this can only end well...) He asks if they believe what Ira said, Gula says of course not, as Ira's arguments were unconvincing, he's only making baseless assumptions given the situation (the person in charge of the group in charge of the world ladies and gentlemen)

Howver, as we all well know by now, Ava is an idiot... her response is to sigh and say maybe there is something he hasn't told us.... cool, he just accused you of treason but we'll just let that go I guess. Aced says how dare he, we are his comerades, and then under his breath Gula says "I wouldn't call us comrades," finally planting some real seeds here. Exasperated he says he knows he didn't just call them there to listen to him complain,'whats his point?

And what a point it is....

"I want the 3 of us to form an Alliance". (Danger, oh danger, bad idea)

Ava points out Alliances are forbidden by the MoM. Gula is like, yeah, I knew it. Had a feeling it would come to this. Do we join forces and confront Ira, nope, Aced says that's pointless, he won't change his mind. Aced says Ira is too busy trying to find the traitor among them that doesn't exist, but the darkness is coming, and it won't wait, they need to find a way to fight it. Ava says it makes sense, but is still against it (Ava in a nutshell people) combining Unions was strictly forbidden by the Master. Aced astutely (especially for this merry band of dimwits) points out he's no longer here. Gula is instantly in after hearing that. (So for those of you paying attention to story, Gula either knows more than he's letting on, or he's the Traitor). He makes it clear however it's only between him and Aced at this time, not their Unions themselves. Smart move probably. Ava wants to follow the Masters teachings. Aced tells her to do what her heart says. (This probably led to the Apocalypse mind you, he should have told her "DO EXACTLY OPPOSITE WHAT YOUR HEART EVER SAYS")

Well, at least Aced was smart enough to not invite the 2 who are definitely fucking, one of which is monitoring them, to this meeting about Ira being a failure and going against the Master's teachings. Whew.

Just then Invi walks in......

WHY IS EVERYONE IN THIS GROUP SO FUCKING STUPID????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, Aced invited the person closest to Ira for their treason meeting. He tells her to hear him out, he wants an Alliance among their Unions. He then says Gula has already agreed, which one, is not cool, two, is not true. Invi points out this is disobeying the Master's teachings. Aced reminds her they don't have a choice. Darkness is coming and they need to stop it.

So when we last left our merry band of idiots the spy was invited to the meeting of overthrowing the emperor... maybe Nomura was trying to do a commentary on Caesar or something.. I don't know.

Invi responds the Master gave each of them a different role then specifically told them to keep their Unions separate to maintain balance of power...

Ok, what? Even in the fake world, even with these idiots that doesn't make sense. Somehow the balance of power wouldn't be maintained if you helped each other's task, mind you they are a GROUP in charge, so if they are a group and that group has a leader, but they aren't supposed to do anything with other Unions.....

WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THE GROUP?!!! How did no one ask any of these questions ever...?

She then goes on to finish that any combing imbalance of power would lead to desire for more power which leads to darkness... ok. What? So, either we are to believe that all 5 armies are to be EXACTLY the same size and skill level at all times (an impossibility) or we are to believe that... YOUR MASTER IS BEHIND ALL THIS!!! I don't know which is more likely.
Let's find out.

She then accuses Aced of being trainted by darkness, so you can throw out everything I jokingly said earlier about her being the only remotely not dumb one... (in her defense, he did organize antreason meeting against the dude who's totally pounding her...)

Aced of course takes this accusation of the worst thing imaginable in KHs rationally...

Oh, nope, just fucking kidding!

Aced then responds back that she spys on them, (ok, so he knows?) and then reports everything back to Ira, and that has no doubt caused darkness in her heart.

She argues that is her role (so they do know each other roles then right, nope... not all of them. How the fuck anyone didn't see through the MoM is a topic that someone needs to do on Reddit or KHInsider before III comes out), which it is. Sorta.

Aced pointo out her role is to observe them, not disclose everything they say and do back to Ira. Ok, so, to his credit, he's making sense here... howver....

HE LITERALLY INVITED HER HERE, AND NOW WE FIND OUT THAT HE ALREADY KNEW SHE WAS SAYING EVERYTHING THEY ARE DOING BACK TO IRA? Then why invite her you dumbass bear mask wearing idiot!?????!!!!

Anyway, he says for all they know Ira and Invi could be allies scheming behind their backs (good thing you invited her then, am I right?!). This leads to a sigh and a close up from Ava, this moment is probably the start of the path to the Apocalypse this incredibly dumb girl is going to doom us to. (Besides her being born of course)

We see Ava alone at the fountain, asking when will it stop, and she doesn't want them to hurt each other. (Keep that in mind...). We then meet Ephemer. I have no reason to talk about him during Back Cover, just know when I talk about UX and X he's a huge deal. It's probably not important, but "Friend's in my Heart" plays here. Doubt it means anything, but it is an absoltely massive song in this series, best known (I would guess) for being the track that plays when Roxas and Namine join Kairi and Sora again at end of KHII. Anywho, Ava asks him if Ephemer remembers what he asked her previously, why the Unions compete against each other instead of working together (smart kid), and she admits she always wondered the same thing... ok, so, she knows this is stupid, counter productive and borderline suicidal, and yet still does it?... sure. Let's go with that. Ephemer points out it's just cause the Master said so.

And here we finally get down to the truth.

"Yes, and as such we must obey, the Master said it so it is." Forget father figure, they treat him like god. It does make the rest of these 3 games and the end of the world make slightly more sense. At least Ava (and probably the others) constantly fought back against their own questions.

She even says she's beginning to question. She says Ephirim wanted to find answers, solve the mysteries of this world. She agrees and says that's how things should be, they need to questions things and think for themselves. (Horrible idea for her). Anyway, Ephirim says she's not herself today, and even Foretellers (that's what the 5 are called) have offdays, he then tries to get her to tell him about the Book
Of Prophcies by tricking her (worth a shot) but she figures it out and says he was trying to pull a fast one on her (nothing gets by Ava). He says no, honest, and she just believes him... (god damn it Ava!)

She says it wouod he great if all the Unions could work together and be friends. Speaking of, Ephirim made a friend in another Union today, (wonder who it could be) they are meeting up again tomorrow, and Ava says that sounds like fun. Ephirim leaves and Ava laments if the worst happens she'll be glad to leave the future to kids who see the world like he does.

She then begs the wind to carry her Dandelions far far away. That's important to note.

Invi returns to Ira who asks her if she's learned anything, and she immediately tells Ira that Aced and Gula's Unions allied (again, this is NOT true). Ira reacts to this calm and... fuck it, I'm not even joking about these idiots anymore....

Ira instantly goes full dumb ass and menacingly declares Aced the traitor after all... ok. First off, no, second off, why couldn't Gula be the traitor, why is it auto Aced?

Invi says she doesn't believe he is (THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU ACCUSE HIM OF IT IN THE MEETING!???) and they to Aced Unification is just a way to get stronger to oppose the darkness. And that his heart still belongs to light.

Ira gets up and slams the book and starts yelling that "Forming alliances was strictly forbidden by the Master"

Invi says "yes, and his teachings are absolute." (Getting some real Waco vibes here....) She says she will try to persuade Gula to dissolve the Alliance. Ira says he will do it, and Invi begs him let her do the talking. (She knows he's an idiot), as himself intervention won't do anything except make Aced even angrier. Ira leaves it to her. She continues on.

"Aced has begun to question the two of us" (he knows Ira's hitting it, making it unfair for everyone else) and as a precaution her "reports" will be less frequent. She doesn't want him to get the wrong idea, and she begs Ira to understand. Ira questioning where else he can find some high school chick into mask play that he can nail on the side when Invi is not coming around as much sits down and contemplates life reading his version of the Book of Prophecies.

And we come to our first major time skip.

Forward 3 months and Aced and Gula walk into a building, and Gula just casually says he thinks he's done. Aced is confused by this (as are we) and asks him done with what. To which Gula replies the alliance. Aced asks why. Gula says because he only did it because he thought they were gonna fight some impending darkness, but it hasn't come.
(That's right kids, if the Apocalypse is ever on the way and doesn't arrive in 3 months, it's never happening apparently.), to his credit though, the rest does make sense. He says there haven't been any suspicious incidents recently and Gula hasn't ralied anyone else to his cause. Gula says the Alliance is meaningless, even Invi agrees... (god damn it) he nearly catches himself but it's too late. Aced yells Invi? The Gula says "uhoh, you weren't supposed to find out" (making it seem like he did it on purpose) and Aced wants to know if Invi was the one who told him to break the Alliance. He says maybe, but it wasn't his decision and he gave him the reasons. Aced grabs him and lifts him up and says they don't know who the traitor is yet, and Gula says that's exactly why he's breaking it off.

Things are getting good.

Gula says he can't trust anyone but himself (dumb thing to say) and Aced points out they can't beat the darkness on their own (didn't stop Riku and Sora... ameteurs, lol) and Gula once again is like, fuck off, don't care.

At this point in time you're probably not shocked, but Aced threatens that he'll destroy Invi for this. (Man, this is one great group of leaders...)

Case of Aced:

And now to see how the big dumb bear became what we see. Aced enters the MoM's chambers. MoM comes traipsing in and is all "you been here long? My bad". I love him. And he asks what he wanted, Aced is like did you forget you called me here, and MoM also tells him he was just fucking with him too. He then tells him his role. "You're gonna be Ira's right hand man". Aced's like "what"? Ira's right hand man, what do you mean?

"Well, Ira's gonna be the new leader after I'm gone see, just stand by him, don't disappoint (he's says the last part flippantly) Aced wants to know what he means by Ira being the new leader (yeah, that was pretty subtle, I could get how that could get lost in translation). And MoM goes full asshole now. "What? Is that disappointment I hear?" Did YOU want to be leader" Aced goes into full denial like, "no, if you had asked me sure, but I wasn't trying to".

"You REALLY wanna be leader, huh"? Aced finally admits, and then MoM needles him by being like duh, I'm not an idiot, I know you want it, but that just isn't enough. Any chump can say "You!, here's a huge promotion. Good job!" (And he gives a thumbs up) Then he tells him enthusiasm alone doesn't make you a great leader, and Ira needs someone like you to push him in the right direction.

"I agree, Ira is definitely the most worthy among us" he says with his words paused, a crack in his voice and anger in his eyes, clearly he doesn't have confidence on this one. And he agrees he'd make a fine leader.

"Then its settled" (god he's great)

Aced points out yeah Ira is worthy, but why do they even need a new leader (he makes a fine point, though maybe it in the way he meant), and if that means he'll no longer be teaching them. MoM again points out he may disappear one day. Aced doesn't react, MoM is surprised and says it again, this time flailing his arms and putting huge emphasis on the word "disappear" this time it clicks with Aced who's like, how, why, where? MoM has one of his best reactions ever. He laments

"Speak up sooner if you're listening. That was embarrassing for me!" He doesn't know if he's gonna disappear or not, it's anyone's guess right now. Either way, he needs to support Ira though, and he points directly at Aced. He is afterall quite serious, always thinking behind his Unicorn mask. So he needs Aced to spur the thinker into action. He says you might not be happy with your role, but just to know it's the most important one. (This is a lie. Ava's is) and then we get to the crux.

"Making Ira the leader is all good in theory, but sometime later you might think 'he's terrible at this' in which case it'll be your job to step up." (I can't even begin to explain why this was a horrible thing. Should Ben obvious) He then explains his leadership might be just what everyone needs. And THAT is your true role. Needless to say Aced is now just waiting to commit Regicide.... Anyway, we close with the guiding key shit again, and him being wished best of luck.

Cut to a few months later (after Gula and Aced split) and we see Aced saying it's been over a year since the Master left, time to fulfill his true role. And that starts with killing Invi. We see Aced attack her on top of a building with his Keyblade. She has no choice but to quit running away, summon her Keyblade and fight back. She does, they both do really powerful cool shit (like cut a dimension) and Aced wins.

She is disarmed, and, well, helpless. But Aced is also an idiot, so before he kills her he asks why she got in his way. She's like don't be so conceited, I only did what the Master told me, trying to keep the balance. And we see Gula leaning on a wall out of view of these two. Aced points out that if they don't defy the Master's teachings light will expire, and Invi's like, you're saying he was wrong, Aced prepares his Keyblade for the final blow and screams he's not here anymore, and he won't let the world fall to darkness. Now Aced could have just done any physical attack and killed her, but the damn idiot did a magic shot instead, which gave her time to jump resummon her Keyblade, turn his MASSIVE fire cross to water, jump through the water X she did use that as a temporary distraction for an instant to get behind him and have a Keyblade strike clash. Which she wins. Injuring Aced. (You need to watch the video, I really can't do this scene justice)
Anywho, Ava is chasing a dream eater, and Gula sees her, thinks his cover is about to be blown and yells at her to come over as if he wasn't there the whole time. Ava runs to and asks Aced and Invi what's going on as Invi closes in for the killing blow. Invi says she found out who the traitor is, regrettably. Ava denies this, and Gula yells there is no time to lose as he summons his Keyblade, and she finally regrettably does as well. All 3 turn their weapons on Aced. He then says the guiding key shit to himself and charges at them. Cut to scene. We see the aftermath of their destruction, and we see Gula in an alleyway with the missing page. Well... that escalated quickly. Speaking of Gula.

Case of Gula: Gula enters the MoM's Chambers and he's oohing and awing and just gunuinely being creepy, and Gulas like, if you're busy I can come back later. MoM instantly says "sure" then he goes, "wait, no no no, stay". lol He continues looking through his book and then rips out a page, and gives it to Gula who is confused. Gen tells him to read it, and Gula says it's from the Book of Prophecies. And MoM tells him yes, but it's not in any of your books. Gula asks what is written here. MoM tells him it's his role. His role is to find the traitor, and stop them, before it's too late. And the way to help them find the traitor is that page. Gula's like,
I get it, that's why you gave us all different roles isn't it? If anyone differentiates from the job they are given it's easy to find the traitor. MoM is just mad he stole his thunder and calls him a show off. Gula is confused, and MoM's words are

"It's not fair, My plan was supposed to blow your mind with its grandeur. Your jaw should have hit the floor at my sheer genius" Gula responds perfectly.

"I'm... sorry?" (The question mark is there on subtitles)

He asked if his logic was flawed, and MoM tells him he is right, and that he earned his time in the limelight. And this next part is the first serious thing he says the whole movie.

He drops all laughter, joy, sarcasm, anything else from giant voice and deadly serious says

"Even though there is a traitor, act normal and keep focused, trust no one but yourself" End scene.

Back to Gula alone in the alley, he says once again to himself to trust no one but himself.

We see Aced crippled laying down in a corner, and Gula comes towards him. Aced says "Gula". And Gula asks him if he wants to know what his role is?. The books they were given were incomplete, there is a lost page, on that page it is written there is a traitor, the Master told me (Gula summons his Keyblade) to find and stop the traitor. Aced gets PISSED... He stands up, I don't care if you think it's me and you want to strike me down, you KNEW there was a traitor and you just watched in silence as we all fought each other. Gula tells him he (Aced) can barely stand an s to give up. Aced keeps coming at him though.

Aced gets pissed about being underestimated and summons his Keyblade to attack, even if he is wounded. Gula attempts to block. The dumbest of them all comes running in in time to see Aced strike Gula down. Ava gets in front of Gula before Aced can land the fatal blow and begs him to stop, Aced is about to kill them both when he sighs and puts his Keyblade back into hammer space....he looks at her with disdain and says her too? Then he limps out of the shack they were in still very injured. Ava picks up Gula's almost completely limp body, he can barely stand and can't at all without leaning fully onto Ava. And then the dumb person asks why it had to come to this, and you can see the gears turning in her head... (this is the beginning of the end).

Aced is limping down a street, and he looks up and sees Ira leaning by the stairs. At this juncture Aced pretty much can't even hope to fight, and just says since you've come to finish me off just make it quick, and limps down and collapses to his knees. Ira says that is not why he is here today, he just wishes to fulfill the role bestowed upon him by the MoM (you know, leader).

Ira says it isn't their place to try to change the events of the future (reminder.... that is EXACTLY why you were made leader...) they are just there to make sure light goes on after. He then says with only 5 lights (Personal opinion Ava is too dim to be called a light, how bout 4 lights and a good person) they can't afforded to lose any now.

Aced asks that Ira still counts him as one of the five lights, and Ira confirms it. Aced talks of only Ira could be such a good guy after everything they've been through. (He's not kidding, Aced literally ambushed and tried to kill the girl he was fucking in the dead of night, truly a Bros before hoes story for the ages). They hug and Aced says that's one of the reasons he respects him so much. Aced then says they still may only be 4, and then says Gula is using the knowledge of something called "the lost page"that it has events missing from all of their books, and he's using it to discover and apprehend whoever the traitor is (why is this a bad thing? Why is eveyone so dumb!?) that he says that was his role. But we don't know what his real intentions are. He does say howver there is no going back for him, he will NEVER forgive Gula for hiding the fact someone wouod betray them. That is the biggest betrayal of all. Ira being at least kinda adept at leading days he'd like to believe Gula was simply carrying out his role, and tells Aced he'll deal with this, and also to keep it to himself. (Should be easy, he and Ava and DEFINITELY he and Invi probably aren't on the best speaking terms right now) He understands and Ira goes up the stairs and as he's walking away says he needs to see that lost page.

Cut to a few days later.
Ava is screaming at Invi why did she tell Ira, that she knows it was her because Invi was the only one who knew where they were hiding at that current time. And her actions surely made things worse than they already were.

Invi responds why should that even bother Ava, she has her own Union but she also took all the best Keyblade weilders from other Unions, and she's training them in a secret location. Ava screams.

"Yes, because that is my role!"

Invi is shocked and says she had no idea. (That should be the subtitle for Backcover. Kingdom Hearts Backcover: I had no idea) she says she is sorry and she overstepped. Ava says she shouldn't have snapped at her. Invi asks what Ira wanted, (meaning she did not ask Ira what he needed their location for when she gave them their location....) and Ava's like, I don't know, he just asked me to give up Gula. His eyes were scary and she was worried he'd do something awful. (Again, their mask eyes can show emotion, don't know how, they just can) she couldn't tell him where Gula was, and he turned around and walked away.

Invi asks how Gula is doing, Ava says she doesn't know, as he's gone. Cut to scene. We see a dream eater running frantically down streets and stairs, and he arrives where Gula and Ava are staying, warning someone is coming, they are headed straight this way. Ava decides it's time to do something REALLY REALLY stupid. She tells the Dream Eater to take care of Gula, and she walks away from their hiding spot. She finds Ira and asks if anything is wrong. Ira stops her dead and is like, I know Gula is in this location, tell me where he is. She asks what he's gonna do, Ira
Says that doesn't concern her, and then she runs ahead of Ira to stop her and yells don't. Ira is shocked at this. She yells she won't let him near him, and STUNNINGLY, this ridiculously stupid plan of challenging Ira actually bought time, he says, so that it then, ok, I'll go. And walks back the other way. Ava returns to Gula to see him trying to crawl out (they never make this clear why) she ask she what he's doing, and Gula wants to know if everything is ok. She tells him Ira was here and he wanted her to give him up. Gula says he always knew it would inevitably come to this. Everyone wants to know about the lost page. Ava questions what it is too, and Gula tells her. And now we finally hear the passage.

"The one who bears the sigil"

That's it. Gula doesn't know what to make of it to be honest. His role is to find out who it is,
He thought it was Aced and went to confront him, and Aced kicked his ass...

Ava asks why he is telling her that, that she already has enough on her mind with the Masters teachings and her role. Gula holds her hand. (Note, lots of people think they too started hooking up after Gula got hurt and they went into hiding, I disagree, but don't blame anyone who does.) Gula says she always walks the straight and narrow and talks that he is a fool for basing his actions on the lost page. (Well, yeah, but in saying that you are saying the Master is wrong, yet you are still following him) That everything in the passage is ambiguous at best. (That's a clue... MoM bad.... you all are fools)

Oh yeah.... you know that Apocalypse that a bunch of dumb asses are gonna create I've kept alluding to. Well, here we go.

Gula says he has to find out what it means, he TIGHTLY grabs Ava's hand (again, there is enough circumstantial evidence for a hook up, especially with what follows after) and says he's gonna ask the Master. Ava astutely points out he's not here anymore. And Gula exclaims....

"I'm going to summon Kingdom Hearts"

Well.... fuck....

Ava is shocked at this, Gula continues, then he'll have no choice but to come back. Ava yells virtually pleading that summoning Kingdom Hearts is forbidden. Gula yells that's exactly why he must, the only way to get him back is to break the rules, (and now he's up on his knees inches from her and having both his hands tightly grasped around hers...maybe I was wrong...) that if things don't change all of existence is doomed! However in order to be able to do this, he needs Lux. (Gameplay mechanic)
He doesn't have nearly enough. He tells her she always does the right thing, and to help him with this. She says she knows he wants the Master to return, but he doesn't know how it will effect the rest of the world, the Master forbid it for a reason, (as she slowly caresses breaks apart, his grip, rubs his hands, then grabs them in between in both of hers this time.... holy shit... how did I ever miss this... they are totally together, this is literally more physical contact then anyone else in KH
Save for Belle and Beast...) She apologizes that she can't help him, and Gula understands. He stands up and limps away, tells her May her heart be her guiding key, and goes forward on his quest to destroy the world.

Cut to scene. Ava tells Invi Gula is collecting Lux. Invi says that explains why Ira and Aced are as well. (Dumbasses)

They are trying to maintain the balance. Invi astutely points out that isnt the balance they were supposed to keep, if everyone is collecting light for themselves, wielders will soon turn against one another, and that will lead to the Keyblade War. Ava points out then what is written in the book will happen, and she asks Invi what she is gonna do. Invi says she will ALSO gather Lux (WHY IS EVRYONE SO FUCKING DUMB!?)'because balance must be kept. Invi then instructs Ava to do the same. They must .... delay.... the inevitable (her words, not mine, I personally see like a thousand ways so far to stop the apocalypse). Ava thinks this is a good idea
(Come on, was there ever ANY doubt Ava would think this?) At least now we get to see why Ava thinks this.

Case of Ava: MoM tells Ava what is written in the last page of the book will happen. The entire world will be lost to Darkness. Ava wants to know if there is anything that can be done. She is the only hope of keeping light from expiring. Here is how she can do that. MoM tells her

1: Don't get involved in any battles
2: Forget the notion of Unions
3: Find Keyblade wielded a with potential
4: create an entirely separate organization
5: Let them fly to another world
6: THEY will keep the light alive.

Ava asks if she's the right person for this (well she had a Union and battled Aced so far... so I'm thinking no) MoM tells her point blank she is the ONLY person for this, and she says she understands. (To note, MoM does not crack one joke or lighten the mood the entire time there, it was all serious business) cut to scene.

We cut to Ava with her dandelions, telling them this may seem familiar, but it's not, soon a world made of dreams, they are the world's hope, a war will soon wage.

"Those who strive to protect the light will turn their weapons on their allies for the sake of loyalty to their own Unions. To be honest, I don't know how far I can guide all of you. What you must remember is that anyone can lose themselves to the darkness. However, there will be no winners; everything will be lost. Except, all of you who are the seeds of hope. When the time comes and there is war, you mustn't fight, but instead you must fly away from here to the world outside. This training is to help you fulfill this crucial task. The future is in all your hands-- as is this world's light. May your hearts be your guiding Key."

Case of Luxu:

Luxu calls the Keyblade the gazing eye, and MoM tells him that isn't what it is called, Luxu asks what then, MoM responds no name, and then Luxu misunderstanding calls it NoName
Inadvertently naming this most Ancient Keyblade. MoM then tells him that Keyblade does have an eye in it, MoM's eye to be exact. (This freaks out Luxu, understandably). Here is Luxu's role. Pass that Keyblade to an apprentice, and then he to his.... so that MoM's eye can see the future. This is how the book Of Prophecies was done. This proves that Luxu succeeded. He tells him he'll need to go alone, and that he needs to take this box and stay out of sight. He tells him to watch with his eyes how things go between the others and when the time is right go and do his thing. Luxu asks what's in it, MoM
Says it's a secret, then tells him he can never Ever open it. Luxu wants to know what's in it, he tells Luxu, (but not us) and Luxu asks why. And MoM menacingly says "you'll see"

We see Luxu on what looks to be the CrossRoads, and he says May his heart be his guiding Key, and that's it.

Backcover over!

Up next are the Union X stuff.

Any questions till then let me know.

How does the stamina work?

And realistically how long would it take me to get through all the cutscenes to where we are if that's all I did?

How do they make money?

If I had infinite stamina I can tell you I would have spent around 2 grand less in Record Keeper cause I would have every ability at R5, and multiple of them..

Guaranteed pulls, and constantly having them, plus constant powercreeps, which makes the whales always spend.

There are many gacha games out there with no stamina, Dissidia Opera Omnia is another one like that.

The power creep in KHUX is mind-boggling to me. I quit back when Illustrated Cloud was always being brought up as super power creepy and totally broken. Lately my girlfriend got back into the game and she was showing me all the stuff they have today - Illustrated Cloud is totally worthless now, the new stuff is INSANE.

Even funnier that they label tiers so clearly within the game itself, just to let you know when the next wave comes out and renders the stuff from the prior month completely inferior, lol.

I don't know that it's actually monthly - a new tier was added within a month of her picking it back up but I don't play myself so I don't know how often they actually drop a new tier. I'd actually be pretty interested to know! For as many tiers to come out as they have since I dropped it, it must be pretty rapid, though.
