I remember someone saying that they didnt like the girls fighting in Dynasty Warriors because it made the game too unrealistic.

Because games with energy beams being shot out of fans and a guy controlling the wind is ok, but a girl carrying a sword is too unrealistic.

when people complain that a certain item/weapon makes the game too easy, like they can't just not use it

People still complain about fast travel, and it's never stopped being not stupid. The only time the complaint held even a thimble-full of a water was that fast travel's inclusion led to the removal of more immersive methods of travel, something that Skyrim remedied with carriages and Fallout 4 remedied with vertibirds / teleportation.

Pity that they finally got their victory in Fallout 4's Survival Mode, which might have otherwise turned out okay (though the ruination of it falls far more on the trolololol decision by Beth to remove the ability to save anywhere from their patented bugfest of a game).

On the subject of Dynasty Warriors, I had a coworker complain that Gears of War was a DW ripoff. He said it was because you go through waves of enemies, and the developer should sue.

He had some weird views on games.

It bothers me in games like God of War or Batman where it's some otherwise powerful character but he's derping around with my dumb ass at the stick doing fetch quests at "level 1".

Im probably alone on this, but people complaining about the time it takes to sail in Wind Waker,before the fast travel ability. I loved it myself and thought the complaints were face palm worthy.

Thats sports though...those should be as realistic as possible unless its something like Mutant League Football or NFL Blitz. Im talking about in general.

Edit: I went and read (well, skimmed) the review and in the context it made sense. He was saying that the streamlined controls made the combat easier than the first two games since you could just point where you wanted. Unless I missed it I don't think it was ever flat out said that "the controls were too good"

Most of them tbh.

Bad graphics is a pretty funny one.
Plot holes in a game that clearly isn't about story.
The main character is annoying, therefore the whole game sucks.

The Adam authorization in Other M was the entire point of the game instead of just an attempt at a different way to do the powerup progression that turned out awkward.

Reality sucks. That's one of the main reasons to play video games in the first place.
