Other than that, there's Mewtwo, and maybe Articuno (which is a little overrated, even if it's the best of the bird trio, but Moltres not making it far makes me have a ressentiment for Articuno).

I don't think Decidueye (or even Lycanroc or Mimikyu) have a chance of making it to the final just because not enough people have played a Gen 7 game yet. And then there's always the Genwunners that won't save anything other than Gen 1 Pokemon (outside of trades).

Zigzagoon making it to the final in the previous Save My Pokemon was a rare exception to the final being limited to Gen 1/2 Pokemon. It helped out big time that the Gauntlet Crew was much more involved in the previous Save My Pokemon (vcharon, Wicklebee, Genny, and My Immortal all participated in the previous one) to help push Zigzagoon to the final.

Agreed Luster. Until I see Gen 1 lose a Save My I'd put money on one of them winning each time.

Best shot outside of Gen 1 goes Espeon though, no doubt. If it made the final two it could topple some of the starred Pokemon I have above potentially.
