Which one(s)? Best act you saw?

My festival season is starting in a couple weeksvery excited for my sixth Bonnaroo. Wasnt planning on going again but the lineup is pretty good for my tastes

Also doing Eaux Claires, Pitchfork, Psycho Las Vegas, and Riot Fest

Festivals really aren't my jam but I've heard good things about Bonnaroo. I also think Boots and Hearts would be really fun. Say what you want about country music, but their shows are usually a great time

I'll be sticking with regular concerts this year

Theres really nothing like Bonnaroo in my experience

Something about how everyone there is living in the same makeshift camping city for five days really brings out a great sense of community. No other fest Ive been to compares

Wisconsin has a weirdly high number of modern rock festivals

I get that its partially a function of the popularity of rock in general, but it feels like the lineups for those are filled with the same acts that havent been relevant in over a decade year after year.

For rock/metal based festivals I think Psycho and Riot Fest are so much better at featuring a variety of new and old acts

I'll be going to Ottawa Bluesfest for 1 date (Foo Fighters) and I will go to Heavy Montreal (I know a guy who works for one of the bands and I can probably get either backstage or some sort of VIP tickets).

I might try to go to Osheaga because I really want to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs, St. Vincent, and Florence + The Machine
