Had to go to the office to pick up some stuff, so I thought I'd order a pizza first so that I can eat it there before going home with my stuff.

An hour later, the pizza still hasn't arrived, so I rang up the place. Was told that the rider is still on his way. I was quite annoyed.

Less than 5 minutes later, I received another call from the delivery post. But it was not good new: the rider dropped my pizza, so they would like to request for 15 more minutes so that they can send me a new one. I was pissed, but I granted their request.

Cue another half an hour without pizza. Rang up the place again and was told that the rider had only just set off with my pizza. Lost it there, railed at the supervisor and cancelled the order. Refused her plea to still accept the delivery. Not my problem that her rider has already left and thus impossible to recall.

Left my office with my stuff to get a burger instead.

None of this happened.

I know people just say this to troll, but this isn't that crazy of a story. Some places really do suck at service. I've worked pizza delivery before. This would happen to select unlucky customers on very busy nights.

I wouldn't be surprised if you tell me that you've no-showed your clients so that you can steal their pizza.

I wouldn't be surprised if you tell me that you've no-showed your clients so that you can steal their pizza.

Not how it works, but the stress of that shit job, an upset customer affects them none whatsoever, and he will just carry on trying to juggle all the traffic and time constraints and assholes
