I've asked this this on another board, and all I got was a bunch of confusing half sentences over several peoples posts.

I'm asking that SOMEONE explain this to me in detail

What's going on?

Why it's bad?

Why is there still an issue when you can just click on general?

Please try to do it in one post, and make it crystal clear, because this whole situation has me feeling like a child who doesn't understand anything, and I really do want to understand.

I'm pretty sure it's the fact that they've solidified the fact that you can basically create whatever topic you want anywhere, even if they are completely Off-Topic, just as long as you include the Off-Topic flair by it.

So with the huge amounts of trolls that are on this site that can take advantage of this, people are pissed.

because it means that absolutely nothing is off-topic anywhere.

you can make any topic, on any board, about literally anything, and be fine.

you wont get moderated.

there's no point to multiple boards, all this does is give career trolls the ability to troll even more with even less repercussions than they already have, which is essentially none to begin with.

Trolls make post things under general, and then just change it later, and just say that they made a mistake, right?

If you do that it also hides every other flair. It would be fine if they allowed you to toggle each flair on/off, or just hide Off Topic by default.

the general should be the default when you enter the board. but even if you click general, every time you leave and return nonsocial board, you will have to extra click, or be prepared to be bombarded with assload of off-topics.
