I haven't gone to the Dentist in maybe like 6 years. >_>

But I don't drink soda, I brush my teeth twice a day, and there's no pain whenever I eat hot or cold foods. Hell, I don't even have pain from wisdom teeth growing in, even though I'm 22.

My teeth are a little crooked (I probably should have had braces when I was younger but for some reason didn't), they're a little coffee stained, and sometimes my gums bleed when I brush (it's pretty uncommon, usually its when I use a new toothbrush or just brush too hard), but otherwise I got no complaints.

Having insurance is great when you're common law or married. My insurance covers 80% and my fiances covers the rest. And when I max out my own plan I can start drawing more on hers.

Same thing for prescriptions. I make more than her but she has a kick ass plan. I haven't paid a thing for prescriptions in 4 years.

I hadn't been to the dentist in like 12 years before yesterday. I was planning to make an appointment for the beginning of June, but had to call around trying to get an "emergency" visit because I broke a tooth last week. Got x-rays, a filling, in and out in an hour. I do have some other issues (one molar that was damaged by its wisdom tooth needs to come out, a few others have small cavities, and a few others that really need to have their fillings redone), but I've always tried to at least brush regularly. He was actually a little surprised that the broken tooth didn't hurt at all (which doesn't mean it wouldn't have STARTED to had I not taken care of it).

Back in the day my wisdom teeth came in impacted, so they had to go, and they damaged the four in front of them so badly that the only way to save them would have been crowns, and my old dentist said even that wasn't a sure thing, so I had them pulled too.

Was poorish for a long time so dentistry wasn't Priority for like 15 years, didn't cost me anywhere near that much and I needed a couple of old busted teeth repaired. Dude just found a shady ass dentist.
