I don't want to "block" so that their emails go into my spam box, I want to make sure I do not receive their emails at all.

How do I do that?

What difference does it make? Stuff that goes in your spam folder doesn't prompt you with notifications, so you'd never know unless you looked in your spam folder.

Yeah I hear you but that's not really what I asked.

You have to look in your spam folder to delete the emails anyway so that kind of defeats the purpose.

I want to make sure I don't receive the email period. Is that a thing?

You don't have to delete them, they disappear after a certain amount of time. I almost never look in my spam folder. Only time I do is when I mistakenly send something there.

Not on gmail.

Only way to ensure they don't send you any more emails is to change your email address.

Not sure about other email services, though.

is there a way to set that amount of time?
Like schedule a cleanup every 24 hours or something.

No but I think you can filter it so your spam folder always looks empty.

Yeah, I think there's a filter to mark all spam as "read", so there's no number next to the spam folder and you never know there's anything in there.
