I was emailing somebody to get my car fixed and he came back to me with a price.

So one of the auto response suggestions when I was going to reply was "Yeah, the price is fine. Please go ahead and book the repair. "

Now I know this isn't new cause LinkedIn does something similar, very basic though. But that really got me thinking wow, this app reads my email and can come up with a context specific response. That's pretty smart man

I like it, but I wish it had an option to add a signature line afterwards. I don't like sending e-mails like I would text messages. You usually e-mail people because it's a bit more formal in nature.

Thanks,

Gmail sent me a reminder of an appointment I had that I hadn't set up a reminder for. And then it offered to give me directions in Google Maps.

Sometimes it's a little creepy.

Hotmail's caught me on a couple of occasions to say "it looks like you should have an attachment, did you forget it?" Really handy for avoiding the embarrassment of sending an "I've attached ____" email without an attachment, but it's also a little unnerving.

This is my signature. It exists to keep people from skipping the last line of my posts.

haha I've had this too

I made a reservation for a restaurant and got an email acknowledgement. Then whilst I was at work browsing google maps, I saw a little pin saying "dinner at 7:00pm" o_O

That's only for extremely formal work emails. You're not going to do that with a random car mechanic where you wouldn't do something formal in person.
