Imgur has put in blocks preventing us from doing so. They do have an embed code that they provide, but it's clunky and causes issues with load times so we are choosing not to use it. Moving forward, if we detect an imgur link, we'll convert it to a format that users can still clickthrough to see (that is to say, that doesn't link to the image directly). Unfortunately, it's the only option available to still allow users to at least link to images on their domain without having the image be blocked. We will explore other alternatives, but we didn't want to leave this feature broken over the weekend. We still support embedding from imgtc.com, giphy.com, and gfycat.com, so feel free to use these alternate services instead of imgur.com to embed an image in your post for now. --- Having a goal is good, but don't let your goal depress you. Direct links do not work with imgtc. When you hit the links they say the image has been removed. Having the images auto-embed and show up in gamefaqs makes them work fine though.
