Died/gone to jail/come out of the closet/etc? Basically the shocking (and sometimes not so shocking) things that people did after you parted ways from the hellhole of high school.

Died? 1, by Suicide, I believe. One teacher I had for my sophomore year died about a year ago as well. She was a little rough around the edges, but I sorta liked her. That ruined my day when I found out.

Gone to jail? This kid I hung out with on and off in middle school went to jail for having sex with an underage girl alongside some dude from the class below us. Hes trying to be a rapper, and has been doing shit on and off for the last few years. Ive posted his videos here before and he is BAD.

Another guy I know, one of those hot-blooded kids who would go 0-100 in a second got arrested for dealing heroin.

Come out? Off the top of my head... maybe 4. Since I dont pay much mind to the people I graduated with, I know of one, who was this slacker kid turned beard bro, but hes still in the closet apparently. Another kid who we ALL knew was gay right from the first day just recently publically came out, and posted some bullshit like I know this might shock EVERYONE, but Im gay and Ive been this way since I was a kid. If youre not gonna accept it, then unfriend me now, or some such bullshit. He shocked nobody.

And one of my fair-weather friends (he (his gender at the time) would try to turn on people with half-assed disses when they thought they could hang with better people, and flip flopped ALL the time, so nobody really liked them) came out as genderfluid or something. Apparently theyre living in squalor in some shoddy town, and banging old gay dudes.

And this one girl I pretended to like is bi, and literally gets a new boyfriend and girlfriend every other month, and humblebrags about it.

Oh, and this one guy I know who got married to his girlfriend right after graduation is constantly on Grindr, last I saw. But hes still married to her. He bottoms exclusively, it seems.

Just batshit crazy? This one Hispanic dude who was a goth in high school is seemingly trying to bleach his skin, and is constantly posting alt-right propaganda about how other Hispanics are ruining the country and that any minorities in any position of power over white people are only there because of political correctness/affirmative action, and how it can be PROVEN that white brains are superior to other races brains. Hes also an incel nice guy.

Nah, rural PA high school. It wouldnt have gone over to well with certain crowds, and your life in general wouldve been a lot harder, especially because we were in a pretty conservative area.

Granted, if I were back then who I was now, Id absolutely come out and just be more sociable in general. Probably couldve coaxed an attractive friend of mine out of the closet since Im preeeeettttyyyu sure hes still in it, and Im definitely still into him.

Most of the gay kids were already out when I was in school. The only one I can think of who wasn't out was just deeply in denial; he was the only person who didn't know he was gay.

Other than that I don't know of any stunning revelations, but I really don't care to keep up with people from my high school, especially any drama/trouble-prone ones where you might expect something crazy. All I've really seen is the usual people getting fat and having kids

I don't know anything except 1 death and only because that happened like 2 months after graduation.

Unfortunately one of my good friends died at 19 (a couple of years after school) from a sudden heart failure (RIP Avinash). He was healthy too with no previously known conditions. Perhaps the perfect example that life is not 'fair'.

Another person got into a drunk driving incident and killed at least one person in the crash. I've met this person since.

as I mentioned in another thread, several people from one of my highschools came out after graduating. and I know some have been arrested from another school I went too. didn't really remember the people but recognized their mugshots when I saw them and they where in the right age range. one for accidentally killing a old woman in a robbery attempt. meant to shoot the person he was robbing but apparently had shit aim and hit a woman down the road sitting in her car.

and while not my class but rather my older brothers, a set of twin girls got busted for prostituting. will always love the comment on the news article asking "was there a buy one get one free deal?"

Honestly didn't keep track of most of them, although I read in the paper about one of them being stabbed. (They lived.)

Then one of them I learned was gay because he asked me advice about his dating profile. He was generally a kinda weird guy anyway, though.

Nah not that awkward really. Aside from that particular event he seemed like a normal and likeable guy. It must have taken him years to try and put it behind him though.

depending on where you live it still meant something 10 years ago. and hell i'd say still to this day. I know there are at least some countries I wouldn't want that problem in.

He was riding a bike at night I guess and couldn't see a parked car due to how it was parked or something like that.
