Haven't gotten around to seeing it, but essentially the consensus I heard was the people that watched the anime tended to absolutely hate it while people that hadn't tended to actually kind of like it. As someone that loved the anime, that didn't really fill me with much hope for it.

The only thing I remember was thinking a few changes were an improvement and most changes were awful, but I can't remember what those changes were

I liked every character except Light in the film. I think they could of picked a better actor for him.

i think the only change i really dug was they made mia her own person instead of light's personal lapdog and i kinda dug a conflicted L at the end thinking about using the death note himself.
