so wheres all the clamor over the fricking oil prices and gas??!?!? every other president has been blamed for that crap, but before his buddies didnt OWN the oil companies... we are about to start exporting oil for the first time ever.... why... anyone else notice the miles of tankers that have been sitting on the rails for the past 6 months are now moving?

And, in general, *most* politicians have friends in those kinds of businesses. Zeus, look at oil prices up till 2004... they just decided they want to double the price around than, and do you have ANY idea how much fuel all our overseas operations and naval ships eat A DAY? We ALL now know we were going to war in iraq no matter how... and i shall stop that one there :D

Doesn't matter either way. All of our presidents have seen highs and lows. Obama saw record-highs and lows that fell outside of what should have been expected, due to inflation. Same with both Bush's and Clinton. We just saw a spike under Trump and now prices are dropping. Some praise Obama for his lows, some hate him for his highs. Same with Bush. Trump, if anything, will be known for his gas prices being meh, in a society where any price is considered too high.
