I just want more people to understand the message he was trying to convey; its important
If you want to be literal everything in life is a choice. This goes a long with meta physics but you all need to understand this is more about Kanye wiling to take all this shit/negative reception to get everyone to think He said himself he doesnt agree with everything everyone does/says; why do people assume the man is 100% on board all Trump policies just for wearing a hat to support the guy? Do you need to agree with someone to love them? Why is this part of his conversations being ignored and theres such focus on the slaves being a choice part, the former is way more important to look at especially now in this time period This is, in my opinion, some test by nature. Some people know his word choice was bad but intentions were not malicious. Just stop fighting in this topic and try to help each other understand THAT is what hes getting at. Why cant there just be a discussion without people throwing around insults or bringing up unnecessary information? Even if he was mentally ill are you seriously saying his words mean nothing because of that? Of course theres more to it but basically just help each other out; lose the Im right/youre wrong mentality because were all here to learn from this --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

adjl posted...That was not calling him mentally ill for the purpose of ridiculing him. That was saying that he's seems to be mentally ill, and that society's insistence on being amused by his ranting instead of sympathetic to his condition is insulting and disrespectful. Only if you consider mental illness to be inherently insulting. Zeus posted... Randomly accusing people of being mentally ill only has an insulting connotation. Only because you choose to see it that way. Breaking the stigma around mental illness involves changing that connotation for yourself. Zeus posted... It's very clearly accusing him of being mentally ill specifically for the purposes of mocking him and diminishing the merits of what he has to say. Let's look at an analogous situation: Imagine a video of Terry Fox running was making its rounds of the Internet because people thought his gait was funny-looking. In response to that, somebody said the following: Can we stop using physically disabled people for our entertainment? Would that person be "clearly accusing him of being physically disabled specifically for the purposes of mocking him"? Of course not. That would be a completely absurd thing to say. Regardless of whether or not he's got a formal mental disorder, Kanye's current presence in the media is absolutely a matter of "Oh Kanye, you're so crazy," and people laughing at that and mocking him. Pointing that out is not insulting Kanye by insinuating that he's mentally ill (which shouldn't be considered an insult in the first place), it's wishing that everyone would just let him suffer his breakdown in peace. --- This is my signature. The hilarious part of this is that people are using his quote about slavery as an excuse to hate him when it's clear to see that the actual reason people got mad and the media targeted him is because he wore a maga hat. I still haven't heard anyone give a reasonable explanation for how Trump is hurting the black community yet guys like the one arguing with him in the TMZ video say that Trump is out to bring harm to black people
