tal artist.

in your typical AAA games, because everything felt random and chaotic. there are exception for sure, but seriously the modern open world is just literally boring and shit. i want tighter, smaller open world like gothic 1/2, morrowind, or even a city block simulation like the yakuza games, or deus ex: mandkind divided which is 100000x better than your usual wide open field with nothing or trash content littered about.

Open world is fine as long as there are things to do and the travel isn't stupidly slow like it is in Dragon's Dogma.

I disagree. It doesn't mean that. The bad open world games definitely do that, though. It's pretty hard to argue, though, that games like The Elder Scrolls lack design or content.

Good thing devs dont listen to people on video game forums

Making an entire open world is a level itself where player can do as they will, makes the game more immersive

Moder. Elder scroll world design is crap by comparison of morrowind.

It birthed to shitty games like ubisoft crap and plethora of its clones.

I know there are exception, but like1 put of 10 open world games do things right, and still none of them beat gothic, the apex of immersive open world design, with memorable landscape, clever enemy placement and zoning, natural progression barrier amd hand placed items and treasures that makes exploration worthwhile

It isabove average yes. The environmental interactions makes most of the level design
