At the midway point of the liquidation and still haven't dropped prices enough for people to care... At my tru, anyway... And the store shelves are still full of toys lol.

Guess they'll scramble at the tail end and finally give in.

Some stuff is still full price and most stuff is still more expensive than Walmart.

They've increased their cap by 10% from 30 to 40, which ain't doing much considering they charge above retail to begin with.

I'm astounded by how incredibly stocked the store is though... Though the games section has been gutted, and only consoles remain.

walmart is going to open soon in the summer, going to bring competition between 3 food retailers.

I tried going there hoping to find video games at a decent price and they were more expensive there than at my local best buy, walt-mart and eb games.

Do they really? Every time I go in to a Toys R Us their stuff is the same price as other retailers. But usually the reason I'm there is because they have a better selection of Legos and Nerf guns than Target or Walmart, but they're priced the same as Target and only a little above Walmart but thats mostly because Walmart does that weird thig where they price things at $X.88 instead of $X.99.

Paying more than you have to for non durable goods doesnt seem like the most intelligent decision to me.

For some reason, Target seems to be a damn good place for Lego.
Decent enough selection, and it seems like there's always something on sale.

Yeah I went in there when they like first announced it and stuff didn't even seem discounted so I was like okay nvm, and I heard a rumor that they were marking prices up to "discount" lol. They always has bad prices, I rarely bought toys for my kid there.

I'll probably stop in again in another couple weeks hopefully I can grab a few things and a drone or something.

Mine is still trying to sell stuff at 10% and it's still more expensive than it is elsewhere.

Maybe that's why they're going out of business in the first place.

Last time I checked it out was two weeks ago

Everything was only 10 percent off, Lego stuff was only 5 percent.

10 percent barely covers the tax. It's still priced higher than competitors.

What blew me away was that people were actually buying shit though.

I'm disappointed cause I wanted to get their chinese military vehicles, but they won't even knock them down.

Yeah, I was surprised at this a few weeks ago. 10% literally just covers sales tax in the state due to sales tax being raised a while back. They need to hit like 50% off to have any chance of selling most of their stock.

They're 20% off at my area store now but considering how much sets cost that doesn't seem to be moving the needle here - so many shelves of Legos still left lol.
