Sure but that was a Spider-Man movie, whereas this is a movie that's supposed to be solely about Venom

I have a bad feeling it'll be more like iron man 3 which barely had any iron man

I think it does the best job at showing who Stark is both with and without the suit. His PTSD from the Avengers incident, his obsession with creating more and more suits as he thinks that is the only one he's of any use to anyone, especially Pepper, and how eventually he learns to become a hero without all of his fancy suits of armor (even though future MCU movies kinda ruin that). He becomes much more than the sarcastically humorous billionaire previous films built him up to be.

I really love the Mandarin switcharoo too. Takes a bit of a bland, stereotypical villain in the comics and makes him something largely memorable and unexpectedly funny.

My problem is I never care about the secret identities, I wanna see superheroes do superhero things. That's why I always preferred DC comic books

But sony has proven only slightly more effective than warner bros at making superhero movies so still not too hopeful about venom

I have no idea why this wasn't the first trailer. Or they didn't end the first trailer with the ending of this one.

Anyway, I think it was rumored the suit is only in the last 15 minutes, but this kind of confirms it. Otherwise they would have shown more of it.

Sony kind of needs for this to not suck. I know they got a Payday from Spidey in the MCU, but the failure of the Emoji Movie has kind of screwed them super hard. They need a giant hit, and I don't think this will be it.
