Its possible Im worrying too much, but I havent been able to farm the last aka best stage of any event so far I think. I pretty much always beat it once having to use a continue and then go back to an easier stage since my best team couldnt win without a continue....

Because no Wavers on my list have that CE, I dont have the gourds for any CEs yet and 1M HP is way too much. Robin would need 4 boosted NPs just to kill Ibaraki and then I have the hands with 100k HP who take forever to kill with Arts Meme weaklings. I got close to beating 2BP once, but Shiki got focused entirely by Ibaraki and 1 hand and went from full HP to dead in a single turn without any enemy NPs and WITH Waver buffs because Ibaraki got off 2 8k crits. Mash isnt bad for saving somebody once, but I just dont have the kind of damage I need. Im gonna have to stick to 1Bp until I can get at least 1 CE and if I still cant beat 2BP after that I dunno. Definitely not worth doing the stage if I cant win

my shishou has the ushi ce and can literally one shot the 2bp with her np (albeit that's with two waver attack boosts but still it should do quite a bit)

and my waver has the carp ce

I used your Waver and ran out of turns on 2BP. I might have won that one if Shiki didnt get focus fired immediately, but maybe not because Ibaraki still had about 300k HP. Its really not even remotely close to easy with the garbage I have to use :/

it's really not much of a loss to do level 1 until you have 200 gourds (just make sure you run as many +drops as possible). it's the best bond per bp anyway, the gourd drops aren't much worse per bp, and the daily missions don't expect much of you yet. it'll put you behind a little bit on the total damage point ladder but it's not much in the grand scheme of things.

Sticking to 1BP until you get the CEs makes sense. But uh yeah you borrow a damage dealer with the Ushi CE not a Waver.

Gee maybe I would if I had my own Waver, but I dont and Arts Meme is literally impossible without his buffs. I cant win with other teams Im seeing floating around either because I lack all the characters needed. The worst part is Im not even losing the stage due to my team dying. Im losing to the turn count because I just dont have the DPS needed

i don't know what you mean by 'arts meme' but i think if you literally run something like

taunter/koala's scathach/some arts user
taunter/taunter/x

(you have d'eon right? even at low level she can cover you for 2 turns. another option is george who's just 2* with a 3 turn taunt and a guts skill)

and use a mystic code skill/scath's evade/mash's invinc/scath's stun from np to cover the turns a taunt isn't up, you can likely kill the boss before she gets the opportunity to kill your damage dealer

edit: i see you also have atalante. you could stick her in slot x, then swap her in on a scathach np turn and buff her quick to increase damage significantly.

What Im running is

Robin with Formal Craft until I get Ushi CE
Tamamo with a MLB Waver/Rider F/Z CE
Friend Waver
Mash (there to eat Ibarakis NP)
Shiki (basically never even makes it out since I run out of turns)
George (there to eat an NP, but never even makes it out due to turn count)

Once I get an Ushi CE it should be a little easier, but for now I have to rely on Robin for all the damage and even though Waver and Tamamo dont die they also dont do much for damage and every turn I have to use one of their NPs is a turn where Im missing out on some damage

Even 1Bp can be annoying if I get focused. Like right now literally Ibaraki and the 2 hands targeted only Robin and he died fairly quickly :/

With that set-up I'd consider switching Mash up to the front line instead of Tamamo. She's so good for this raid it's not even funny, particularly if you've maxed her defense skill.

When it comes time for Robin to release his NP you can swap in Tamamo for her buff with the plug suit if you're using it. (You really should be for a quest like this.)

Ive been using the plugsuit long enough for it to be level 5. I just got enough damage points and gourds to get my first 2 Ushi CEs.

Seeing swordz having trouble with this event makes me feel less bad that I cant even do it due to not being caught up on the story.

Oh hey, Santa Alter can insta kill the hands with her NP even though they're archers, provided she's got a good Waver backing her up. Need to tweak my set-up and test something but I think I should be able to 1 turn clear Ibaraki on BP2 with this, and while maximizing gourd farming to boot!

Guess I'll enjoy the low stress farming until I've got more carps and it's time to slam myself against the 3BP banana. X_X

Managed to beat BP2 with my team. It was still kinda close after Robin died, but he did like 600k+ by himself at least before being focused to death. I really wish the enemies would quit ganging up on him because my tanks are there to eat NPs and cant afford to eat regular attacks instead because RNG is bullying me lol

yeah my bp2 gourd setup is a hans-santa-support waver frontline with santa holding the only damage ce. takes some turns but i'm running +10 gourds (got lucky with ces), +50 bond with it.

"Day 1" is three days long and people spend much of the first two powering up exponentially to start tackling the 3BP raid. The JP server did have a bigger playerbase than us, but I wouldn't sweat it unless things are still looking bad tomorrow night.

Huh, really? I'm quite enjoying this so far. Feels like the first case of legitimately tough as nails content we've had, which is what I've been waiting for pretty much since the game came out. This is where team building actually matters and folks like Mash and the below 4* servants actually start to put in a ton of work.

Yep. I cant stand it. The thought of having to fight Ibaraki probably a billion more times because its all the event seemingly is aside from the Mash and Kintoki story is just awful. Dont like how you cant use AP for it, dont like the Ibaraki fights and if I didnt need mats so much I would just plain not do it and only clear the story stages. This is pretty easily the worst event so far to me and part of that is because of how hard it is. I wouldnt be surprised if others feel the same and have basically given up because the gap between 1BP and 2BP is pretty big and the gap to 3BP is far larger.

I got 4.8 million damage done on the 3 BP. Probably won't attempt it again until I MLB the Ushi CE

Once my BP regens I'm going to take my first crack at 3BP. Will likely be spamming command spells just to get through it and test the waters, not expecting to be able to tackle it seriously until my CE loadout is a bit more filled up.

Edit: Oh, I missed the Santa question. She's wielding the one Carp I have atm, which I'm of course pairing with a support Carp.

Hmm, I see. Yeah, that'd make it faster. I've been using a Support with the gacha CE though, and four other drop rate CEs to help out with that, since clearing the shop seems challenging this time. Also, 2BP is better for farming shop mats than 3BP, just so you know.

I made it through but even going in with the mindset of being willing to throw out command spells freely it was pretty rough. Jack ended up getting focused and dying way earlier than I wanted her to, so I only ended up doing about 2.5 million damage. Guess that's not really that bad - at least once I'm fully decked out I can pretty reasonable expect to clear it, but I'm going to have to be on my toes. >_>

Yeah. Man I wish I could get more gourds without having to summon on the banner. I cant even buy the 300 one yet because all I have is the 1 story CE for drop bonus.

clearly you need to do more FP summons. Spent ~150K FP and got three from that.

I'd think getting 200K in a month is fairly typical if you have your supports setup with the right CEs.

Dont you only gain bonus FP from the Mash CE? If theres some way of making more other than having your own and a friend with it Im unaware of what it is.

You get FP when your Friends use your Servants.
